I can never come up with titles for my poems, if you can call it a poem. More so just me writing to get my feelings out.
Sometimes I think I fall to fast,
Quite often I get my heart broken,
You'd think by now I would have learned my lesson,
But I still believe in that magical fairytale ending.
Now I find myself doing the same thing all over again,
Falling too hard for someone much too fast,
But how do you really stop yourself from doing so?
I don't believe it's smart to run from your feelings,
Even if I do it far too often,
But I believe you can't really live, if you never really love,
And that's what's keeping me from running this time.
The only reason I'd want to run away from you,
Is to save myself from the painful feelings,
That are left when they leave you, Ones I'm still just getting over.
The hurt, the pain, the heartbreak when it ends,
When they walk away and don't look back,
And you find yourself at 3 a.m sitting on the floor in tears wondering why they left,
All of those things, are things I never want to feel again.
But nevertheless, Here I am again,
Falling for another, But just like my best friend says,
We all eventually hurt the ones we love.
So I know in time, You'll hurt me,
And I will hurt you, Unintentionally of course,
We have to decide who is worth the pain,
And you my dear, Certainly are.
