Suggestions to increase game development rate
« on: May 13, 2010, 11:20:48 AM »
well, if the team has too little good pixel designers, then why don't they ask they're current pixel designers to train some more pixel designers.
Also, not everything has to be resized, just the map and you can also get some pics from the emulators.

To answer;

1. Training is harder then finding talent. In the case of training, you still have to find someone that has talent, teach them your style, then train them to be good at it. That usually takes longer then just finding competent people.

2. Because PU is using custom tiles. Nothing will be taken from the games. Period. The current buildings from the games are only placeholders; they will not be in the final version. All content on final release will be custom.

You are forgetting that we make this game in our FREE time and we don't get paid to make it. Most of the team members are still going to school/college and/or have a job.

[sarcasm]If you want to increase game development, transfer +/-2.000.000 euro to my bank account and we'll finish the whole game within a couple of months.[/sarcasm]

    I would love to help, it is my dream to become a game maker. But sadly I am still in high school and I have no experience with this tech. But I will one day. Most likly in 4-8 years. Its one of the reasons I like hearing about what progress or Ideas you guys accept or reject.

UM if im not suopposed to talk in any of these forms just tell me and I wont.
All who pass may never pass again. Or maybe they will!
I will one day become an official game designer, No Joke!
I’m a poor speller, so eat it.

No. The only thing we need (and are using.. well, most of us) is patience.
