How about you guys make your own 100 pokemon or a new level cap!!!

    OK this would be the coolest thing ever to have 100 new pokemon in the 1st mmoPokemon game, or even a new level cap like level 500. Or even better, allow the trainer to cutomise there own pokemon. As in moves look type and every thing. Just think about how epic this would be.
   
      You could give the player the option to use a certin # of stat points to differnt parts of there pokemon. Then have them come up with a front and back pics of the pokemon. And right after have the player chose the type(fire, ice, water, grass...). And  finsh it off with the moves that fit in with the type, 1 move for every 10 level and a starter move. Then have it go through you guys for approval.
     
       Like I would have most of my point in the attack stat. Then Make it look like a fish or a water type but make it grass type, to trick the oppents mind. Then give it solar beam at level 40 and razor leaf at 30. And name it Quwaay  and give it 2 evole forms.

No and no.

Fakemon usually turn out bad (with a few notable exceptions), require a lot of work to sprite and make, and are generally not worth the balancing. I've worked on fakemon balancing projects at Smogon and the end result is usually not what you want. So, no.

And no. I'm not even going to explain why an increased level cap would be bad.

And this is not the 1st pokemon MMO.  There was Pokenet which got C&D ordered by Nintendo.  It had both Kanto and Johto.  And currently there are 3 worthwhile pkmn games to play.  There is Pokemon Den of Ages, Pokemon Cyrus and Pokemon Destiny.  Just thought I let you know of them while we all await the release of Pokemon Universe.  If you want the links to any of these games plz feel free to send me a Private message.

Your idea is a bad idea. It would really mean a lot of work for the PU staff. A lot of players will be sending them pokemons to be approved daily. It would get really annoying having to check all the types of pokemon and it would take a long time. It might even cause errors in the game and cause it to run slower.

As for the pokemon level. Like it was said before, the PU want the game to be like the original game, nitendo style. So having pokemon level greater than 100 would not be like the original game. It would also be really hard for new players to go against other players with pokemon level 200+.
Can you imagine a new player comes in, then he starts to battle another player and gets beaten by one pokemon with one move from the opponent. All of the new player's pokemon faint. The player with the pokemon on a level higher than 100 wouldn't even break a sweat. It would get way too easy for players with pokemon with a level greater than 100. The PU wants to keep things balanced also.
So you would have players with their pokemon at lvl 80+ (until 100 of curse) battle each other. It would take each other a long time to win the battle depending on the type of pokemon they have but it would be more fun because the battle would be fairly even if the players have their pokemon levels almost the same.
