Will there be an excavation sight in this game?

I guess what I'm trying to say is, like in pokemon diamond and pearl, will the player be able to obtain different fossils? If so, will we be able to trade them? That was just one new addition that I personally liked being added to the series, and was hoping the dev. team here would consider keeping around.

Atm we're just focusing on releasing some awesome content. But don't expect that either any time soon.
