I don't hate Halo ???. And I never said it was mediocre for being easy :).
Just, compared to GoW and MGS, I find it extremely 'Meh'.

Well, I originally loved Gears(try not to use GoW, confuses alot of people with another game involving the same letters). I loved it so much I bought the Limited Edition of both games. But I went back to them earlier in the year, and I found myself asking "why did I ever like this game? I just sit behind chest high walls and chainsaw whomever comes around it...This is a terrible game." I don't think I'll even be getting Gears 3 now.

Halo 2. Still my favorite FPS.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Well then challenge yourself. Stop standing behind chest-high walls with the chainsaw ready, you might like it a little better that way. In CoD, I could just go prone at the top of a ladder and mow down anyone that comes by. But I don't, because that's not playing a video game, that's pressing L1 over and over again.

I can't say I haven't done that, but I just feel like I'm running through an alleyway, getting behind a chest high wall, shoot guys, move foreward, repeat.

Oh wait, I just summarized most FPS games. Now I feel silly.

Then you should try Metal Gear Solid. The controls were hard to ajust to, up until Guns of Patriots, but the ability to actually STAY UNDETECTED is unique to Metal Gear, wheras in other shooting games, they just magically find out where you are.
Plus, you actually get to CHOOSE what weapons you use, and from an extremely wide array of Assault Rifles, Submachine Guns, Pistols, shotguns, Light machine guns... you get the idea. In other games, they just slap a generic assault rifle on you and send you to your death.

You mean, like gears of war?

anyways maybe I'll buy it sometime soon. But not this week. Halo:reach comes out this week. Its Bungie's last chance to regain my respect. They took it away during 3, and lit it on fire in ODST. I'll be the one lighting things on fire if it doesnt work out.

I was given Splinter Cell, and Pandora Tommorow for the PC for free. The first ones freaking hard, and I have yet to try the second. But it seems that even though I'm in full darkness, crouched, and not moving, I can still be found. If Metal Gear Solid can have that not happen, I may have a new favorite game, as stealth games are better than most games IMO.

Its actually not. That is a false statement. This is BUNGIE's last halo game. They sold the liscense to microsoft. And Microsoft game studios have no intention of letting the series die. Also, why woul it be that someone would like other Halo games just because this one is the last one? If anything, this should be the one to try, as Bungie has stated over and over that they plan to go out with a bang. This is supposed to be one of the best, if not, the best Halo game.

Don't make claims that aren't true, this is the internet. It's serious buisness.

The guy on the right, at a glance, looks like he's flicking someone off.
Then I realized it was his index finger.
Then I realized he's a noob for not actually flicking somebody off, and just pointing at the sky.
Then I realized I'm realizing too many things.
Dammit..
...
...
...
Also the girl looks 10.

He wasn't pointing at the sky. He was probably yelling at the girl to check his doubles.

Doubles. Check 'em.
