Whimsicott and Snorlax are in my reserves. This has been my team I use for tourneys, laddering, competitive play, and such for about 3-4 years now. I'm slowly starting to change things up and switch out some pokes for more gen 5 pokemon starting with Whimsy.

Just a quick question.  What do you use for infernape?  I'm just wondering because I want to compare it to mine.

I made a mixape set specifically for dealing with Swampert and Salamence.

My team is based around controlling the battle through speed. 188 Speed EVs lets him outspeed Salamence, Azelf, Breloom, and a -natured Gengar and Starmie. 64 Atk EVs are enough to OHKO everything that resist my special attacks and is my strongest STAB despite having maxed out my Sp.Atk. Grass Knot OHKOs Swampert and 2HKOs Suicune which normally try to set up on me. Hidden Power Ice is for Latias and Salamence.

I know my Atk, Sp.Atk, and speed IVs are all 31 while the rest are around 29-30.

It works pretty good.

If I was to make a team based only on favourites and not on their ability to kick arse in ranked matches, this would be that team:

-I would have an umbreon, he'd be bold and standoffish.
-My ambipom would be a silly little devil of course.
-Togekiss, probably name him something stupid, like Petunia.
-I'd have a tyranitar named Bonaparte. He'd be a big softy though. Even though he looks like a beast and puts up a brave front for the others, he'd just be a big cuddlebear when it comes to his trainer.
-Empoleon would be named Percival, he'd be pompous and self-righteous.
-And finally, my sandslash. She is bashful. Hiding underground in embarrassment.

My team would mainly be my favourite Pokémon.
But I'm not really the competitive kind of player, so I do get defeated by those. However, it doesn't mean I totally fail. Because the metagames get sweeped by them. ~

From all the games combined this would be the team I have and mainly are my favourite Pokémon.

- Froslass

My most favoured Pokémon of all time. However, now it's on par with Leavanny. I like her, somehow, I don't know why. But I like her from all of the Pokémon created so far.

- Leavanny

On par with Froslass but still a bit lower placed. I really like her in my Black game where she is one of my strongest Pokémon.

- Carracosta

Really something you wouldn't expect after the two ladies I mentioned first right? Still I like this sturdy Sea turtle. Also helped me against Ghetsis' Hydreigon with het sturdy ability while she was level 45 and the main reason I won the league around that team level. So this one became a trusted partner in my team.

- Infernape

Badass,  fire is mainly my favourite typing in the whole Pokémon game. So it was expected that there would be atleast one fire type in my team. Most of the fire types I like because of their coolness or their elegance. ~

- Sandslash

At first it was the pre-evolution I liked the most after I saw a picture fo Sandshrew in the R/S/E Pinball game. But after I saw how cool sandslash was in Pokémon Battle Revolution I melted for Sandslash...

- Luxray

One of the first Pokémon I liked out of the Diamond and Pearl series. Really badass, cool, amazing.


As you can see, I look at outer appearances when it comes to building up a team. Because most of them aren't really that impressive... Well yeah... ^^;

Favourite team:
- Charizard
- Dialga
- Altaria
- Hitmonchan
- Omastar
- Sceptile

Without legendaries, I will chose:

-Hitmonchan, he's just master because of 4 types reasonably strong moves.
-Charazard, the fire type without earth damage
-Altaria, since you need a flying type, I chose a dragon-flying. I hope defog is not needed.
-Omastar, just cool
-Sceptile, I should have a grass type
-Bastiodon, also just cool
