TMs must definitely be more available than in the games - where breeding can be absolutely ridiculous.

That or we need to make breeding just a tiny itty bitty bit less ridiculous. A few more links in the breeding chains, particularly to groups like Humanshape and Indeterminate.

I concur wholeheartedly, breeding was such a pain in all of the games, unless you had a ditto, but even then, you  couldn't teach the born pokemon the moves you wanted, it was just a quick way to breed, if these groups were linked, it would make life a whole lot simpler from the breeding stand point  :D As for TM's, I really liked where platinum went with the battle tower and would like to see some implementation slightly resembling to that, with a more expansive TM purchasing list if possible, and also like the idea of TM rewards from quests and certain events, also perhaps on the topic of pokemon loot, certain pokemon may rarely drop a TM if possible.

I reckon breeding should be a time-consuming task, perhaps a little less so for PU - but like, linking the groups up a bit better would be a big improvement without cutting down on the effort needed to make a good breeding chain. Currently it's a nightmare to try an get certain moves on certain Pokemon without using your only TM on something that can't breed it anywhere.

Off the top of my head,
Geodude/Graveller/Golem also in Ground group.
Onix/Steelix also in Ground group.
Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir/Gallade also in Humanshape group.
Nidorina/Nidoqueen in Monster/Ground groups.
Drifloon/Drifblim also in Flying group.
Gulpin/Swalot maybe also in Ground group.
Slugman/Magcargo also in Monster or Ground group.
Abra/Machop families also in Monster group.
Magmar/Electabuzz (and evos) also in Ground group.
Barboach/Whiscash also in Ground group.
Krabby/Kinger also in Monster group.
Scyther/Scizor also in Flying group.
Trapinch family also in Dragon group.
Shuckle also in Ground group.
Heracross and Pinsir both also in Monster group.

Note that none of this actually imbalances the game, as, it doesn't change egg moves at all.
Just makes breeding a whole lot less ridiculous.

Anyway, nothing above has actually been discussed with the PU team (and so it's not at all certain as to whether we will change egg groups at all), though I may call it to their attention in the future. This is something I think I'd like to see though. Breeding is currently a nightmare in a lot of cases.

Ah, yes but everything you suggested seems to make perfect sense, I would like to see more logical
egg groups  ;D

*cough* Sorry dark,  Well, let's recap, we covered from quests and events, and also I believe I said something about a battle frontier type of deal, I just know there will probably be quite a few ways to
get your hands on TM's.

I would really like to see an original system as well, so if anyone has a really innovative idea, I'd like to hear it  :D

With all due respect, the availability of TMs and Egg Groups go hand in hand. =/
It's pretty much one of the main 2 reasons breeding was introduced. (The other being more player controlled stats)

If it weren't for TM Breeding, we'd all have to go and play with Missigno every time we wanted to make a Pokemon team.
