Mini map! and locating friends (or certain NPC's) on the mini map!

I think there should be a Mini map added to the client for TOWNS. it'll make it so much easier to find certain npc's all aroung the place.

why it should NOT be for routes/caves: Gives the way through the route/cave so it ruins the challenge.

I thought of an idea to tell which friends are AROUND you :D (same TOWN)
if not there should be one! :D

alrighty... say your at a town filled with people! and you look at the mini map and see there
too many people around to tell if your friend is there :\

well hows about making the dots of your friends a specific color (say green) to tell them apart
from the rest of the players hanging around there? :)

if you need me to explain more i can :P i think... xD

Example: (sorry for my good paint skills)

*green dots = friends!
*white dots = other players!

Well the screenshots don't show a mini map so I'm guessing no.....but though I think this is a great idea, it can help us find friends, NPCS, and quest related stuff :)

especially color codes would help find all kinds of NPC's! :D
ex:
enemy's
friends
rival (will there be a rival? xD)
 etc...

Ok, well, yes, Quest NPCs, friends and 'rivals' (player rivals, no NPC rival) being marked by a certain color code on a minimap would be nice.

However, pokemon no. Pokemon will be following their trainers, and you should not be able to see wild pokemon, that'd ruin the game ;)

i like this idea, for all of the people and npc's but not for any pokemon.
