Hey everyone! Anyone up to form a clan once the game publishs?

Im down for a clan the only problem is i cant stick to one type of pokemon I like them all

Same here and I'm sure you'll find many, in fact probably the majority feel the same way. There is no rule against guilds/clans that dig all the diff. types, at least no rule that I know of anyway. The things next to the names were just some of the contexts they could be used in, not all of them, and if a name fits any context, then there's no reason why someone shouldn't use it for clan/guild that uses all types.

Honestly I'm not worrying about getting a clan made, or really joining one at this point, I think I'd rather join one just because I don't care if I'm leader or not and in a really good clan I know  I won't be promoted to a second in command position easily unlike most clans I typically join in other mmorpgs. I want a challenge

Then what will you do with your super awesome secret guild name?  A fair number of mmorpgs let you get up the rankings pretty easy in a clan, but this one browser I played...scary **** man, scary ****. 3 people playing on one account to keep up was common among the better players and there were a lot of sleepless zombies that would come on skype and talk about how they should be sleeping

I gave the rights to my guild name to my best friend so if he wants to make it he can.

Well technically there are no rights to guild names, and the only thing you could do if someone used it without your permission is be pissed off.

actually, if one wanted to be a jerk one could go and trademark/copyright the name but no one would do that unless they were really mean

A squirtle clan would be cool, lol. I should copyright my name though, as those who use it before I get to don't even stay active past 5 minutes and I'm stuck with a boring name.

Well... good luck getting a legal copyright on a clan name for a free pokemon MMO.
