I loved 7 the most, in every way!
The one I hated the most was 13... omg.
I gave up on this game after 4 hours of gameplay... it's only running straight ahead, kill some mobs by pushing A as fast as possible (Yes I have it on xbox360), more running, more killing, more running, watch a cutscene, more running!! it never ends! Where is the exploration? The adventure?
The only things I do with my controller are pushing my joystick forward and press A all the time. And maybe start to get some rest lol.

I love my FF's, I have played everyone thats out at least once.

Most loved: The American FF6. Cyan & Shadow were awsome.

Best Story: The American FF4. Cecil starting as a death knight then turning into a paladin was awsome for me.

Most enjoyed: FF8. Junctioning system and not having mana was an amazing setup. Actually playing though it again as we speak. just got in the first dream sequence.

Favorite character is probly Squall for being so beast with lionheart.

Only FF i was ever disappointed in was 9. It let me down in so many ways. But i still own it and have beat it.

I have a toss up between the original on the old nintendo and 8.
I loved the storyline/gameplay of 8, plus the introduction of the card games was pretty sweet to.
and not going to lie, 9 was one of my favorites, Zidane+Vivi=win
Plus I liked the card game in it a bit better then 8's.
7 was good but I will agree a bit overrated, though it was the most influential rpg out there.
10 was ok but I hated the fact that there wasn't a world map to explore anymore.
12 is ok but not as good as the old ones
and 2-6 I don't remember anything remarkable about, though it has been a few years since I played them.

I will admit, FF7 is definatly the best Square Enix have managed to release in this series. But in a close second is FF10. The gameplay is outstanding, graphics where pretty decent for its time, storyline was amazing. And then we have blitzball. The best mini game ever to be released in an FF game. But then they killed it with FF10-2 with Blitzball manager... the only reason i ever wanted to kill a member of square enix.

Ahhh, Final Fantasy. I'm an absolute fanatic when it comes to this series. VII was my first, like so many others, but I don't consider it the best, even though it deserves its place among the timeless video game wall. X is probably my favorite, since it's the first game I ever became emotionally attached too. I got so sucked in by the characters and world, that I was near tears at the end when Tidus jumps off the airship and leaves Yuna behind for good. "I'm sorry I couldn't show you Zanarkand....." One of the saddest lines ever for me.

And the XIII wrecks the show. I bought a PS3 for just that game, and I wasn't disappointed. Everything I've come to expect from a FF game was there, ranging from an excellent story line to an awesome new battle system that' really grown on me. Never thought that the Paradigm System could add so much strategic depth to something.

I've played the old ones too, so don't go thinking I've just ignored the series' roots. VI is awesome too; in more ways than one I think it paved the way and set the standard for all of the 3D titles as far as story and characters were concered.

If you beat X at 100% you get a different ending.
I haven't seen it yet as I have only gotten to about 94% before I lost interest.
But it is supposed to be really good, I have been thinking about loading it back up just to see it.
Takes at least 2 runs through the game to get 100% due to the different Albhed(sp?) letters that you can't get till late in the game.

You sure that's not X-2 you're talking about? Because I don't remember X ever keeping track of a percentage, while X-2 did. Plus, there's nothing really secret about the ending, except for the little bit at the end credits that turns out the be the beginning of the "Good Ending" in X-2.
