[NEWS] Private Pre-Beta 2.0

Hello everyone,

Today me and Mr_Dark have decided that we're going to have one more private pre-beta before we release a public beta. This is mainly to test stability of the client and server, but also to get some feedback from our users about the looks and the gameplay.

We will invite 50 users (maximum) to participate in this testing session. So as opposed to last pre-beta where you could sign up, we will hand-pick the users.

The date we have set is: 1st of april, 2010*
*no, this is NOT a joke

The following is a list of people who are invited already. Not on the list? We invite active users, especially the users that we think will give good feedback. So check back every now and then. Also, if you're on the list but you don't want to or can't participate, please let us know so we can free up the spot for someone else.

The game features that will be available on this test:
- Walking
- Talking to players around you
- Talking in public channels
- Private messaging
- Item usage
- Battles vs wild pokemon
- 1vs1 player battles
- Customizable character outfits
- Basic NPC-based quests

How do I get on this list?!!

If you make enough sensible, informative or helpfully critical posts between now and when the beta list is full or April 1st (whichever is sooner), you will be added.

The staff read every post in the more serious forums, so your efforts will not go unnoticed, I promise. Note also that unhelpful, pointless, or badly thought-out posts will go against you. We will notice if you are just posting in every thread to make a name for yourself but with nothing to add. Coming on IRC will also help us determine whether you are mature and likely to make a good contribution, plus it's great to chat!

Remember, a closed pre-beta is not just a ticket to have fun, we are looking for serious feedback and testing.

Duration of this Pre-Beta
The pre-beta stay's open until me and Mr_Dark are satisfied with our work. So it'll probably be open for a couple of weeks (maybe more). You don't have to worry you're not able to play it because you don't have any time April 1st or that week.
