Painfully I managed to clamber to my feet. I spotted in the distance a dusty LRV Army transporter in the corner of my eye. It must have been the Omnicide Military coming to clear the place out. The truck had been ripped apart by bullet holes but it looked like it was still in tact.

Ambling over to it, I took out a knive. I jammed it through the top of the window trying to wrench it open. Upon suceeding I climbed into the truck.

There was no key. I was starting to panic.

"No, Calx. I don't care how much foreign food you want. You're on Crazy Detox right now."
Stefan wandered down the street he'd gotten on, looking for a store that would have maps.
Dunkin' Dounuts? Probably not. McDonald's? Maybe he'd come back later to burn all their food. A Library? Yeah, those have maps. He pulled the main door open, looking to the group behind him.
"Ladies, and... Calx. After you."

"Paper burns easily..." He states, still pouting about his lack of mexican food.
Suddenly, he snaps to attention to where he is.
"Nex, Libraries have Shakespeare right?"
She gives a nod as she walks beside him.
He closes his eyes and begins to recite lines as he walks down the aisles.

"The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have."

There was no librarian behind the desk. They'd probably left to get a more productive job. Like arson.
incidentally, there was a small shelf just past the desk with a few road maps of the country.
"Oh, England. You've been much drier since the apocalypse."
Picking up a few of the maps, Stefan made his way to a computer. Apparently someone was still feeding electricity to the library, because it immediately turned on.
"Welcome to the Gloucester public library!"
He dropped the maps.
"Astrid, Calx, Nex, get your poop together and let's go. We're already here."

Calx was grabbing shakepearean plays when he heard Stefan calling from the entrance of the library.

With the books under his arm, he makes his way back, with Nex close behind.

Luckily, his friend had a phone and the symbol had the number on the back in very little font. he called the place and asked for Rex, hoping someone would pick up.

I walked into an empty room, all the rooms were empty... I heard a phone ring. I walked up to it and picked up.
Hello?

Rex is dead. He killed himself. I am Lance, the only one still loyal to Rex's plans. Who are you?

You can come here, but there is nothing.
I hung up the phone and sat down. There was much to do, and not much time...

Dakentio went outside with Sheene and Kratos. The whole town was silent.

On the road, Stefan began noticing familiar buildings. A church that had been painted red by some cultists a while back, for instance. He turned his head, tilting his blind side towards Calx.

"Listen, no matter what happens, your presence on Anurak's doorstep is gonna cost me a lot of physical labor, and the more you meet his expectations for crazy, the worse it'll be. So, please, just try to be sane. For me. And possibly for you, since we are talking about a master close range killer who is significantly taller and stronger than you are, not to mention he already doesn't want you anywhere near his house."

"So after this Nex, is there anywhere you would like to go?"
Not really...

Calx looks at the scenery as he walks by

"Thats a shame, I'll have to find something else to do then."

Stefan shook his head, looking over to Astrid.
"When we get there, try to keep his attention away from Calx, okay?"
"Got it. I'll just collapse when we get there or something. That should distract him."
"Oooh, you're devious. Why haven't you been applying that until now?"
"Who said I was devious? I'm just roughing it out right now. I've been wanting to faint since that Slender Man guy chased us."
"Fair enough."
Stefan turned a corner, arriving on a particularly important street in his life.
"Well, we're almost there. Just a few more houses down. I feel like this should be sobering."
