Stefan stayed there, with the girl sobbing on his chest, until it was over and the bodies were disposed of. Lowering his head, he whispered to the girl, "It's over. They're gone."
Slowly, she raised her head and backed away from Stefan. Her face was beet red from tears.
Turning back to where he'd come from, Stefan managed his typical wave-salute.
"If you ever need me, I'm at bed 32."
Continuing down the corridor, he head a bit of scratching coming from one of the rooms. Poking his head in, he saw the new sniper scribbling on the wall at a blurring speed. It looked like he was having a conversation with someone. Only there was nobody else there.
"...Oh, cool. A REAL headcase. Way more interesting than all those angsty brats I've been stuck with. What's your name, man? I'm Stefan, your new best friend."

"Calx" He mumbles, looking away from his work and at the man.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Stefan looked at the numbers for a moment. What the hell was that?
"Calx, eh? Were you born with that one or did you have to change your name when you fled to Mexico, which I'm assuming you've had to do at some point?"

Demos didn't want to watch the execution. He went, though. His feet drew him, the pounding of hundreds of footsteps forced him. Another pair added to them. 216 now. He arrived at the showing. A girl caught his eye. On the platform. Nuse around her neck, crying. She reminded him of something. Someone. He looked away, the face burned in his mind. Aria. Demos didn't want to be reminded of Aria. He kicked the seat in front of him.
"God dammit! They don't deserve this!"
He left the place.
"God.. dammit.." Tears in his eyes now. "Why.. Why is humanity so corrupt.."
He was at his bed, trying to relax. Deep breaths. The face still there. He couldn't not see it, no matter how much he closed his eyes.
This is what Omnicide does to people, he thought. This is their sick, twisted game. I'll play along. I'll play. I'll survive. For her.

As Crimson walked toward his room he noticed someone crying.  He wanted to ask what was wrong, but he it wasn't any of his business.

"Too hot in Mexico, too much water, low roofed houses grouped together, bad place to shoot from, lots of bare land, bad place to hide. Mexico is a bad place." He grins, "You would have to pay me alot to give me a hit for someone in Mexico. Alot of risk put into travel, plus all of those hazards and low roofs."

she told you not to talk about that
Do you hate her or not? You can't attack her one moment and side with her the next

"Stefan had green hair you're not Stefan."

Yo, Make up you mind fast. Oh and before I go eat some more Brownies, let me tell you something. If you are not a member of my team, you will die. Now have a nice day.
I could hear them calling me. they were saying: Rex, come eat us! Eat us!

Stefan brought his hand to his head. Short brown hair. Just like it's been for... always. He also felt the fabric of his eyepatch wrapping around his head. A constant reminder of what REAL dangers can do.
"You must be thinking of a different Stefan, Calx. My name is definitely Stefan, and my hair's always been like this."

Kain finally spoke to Eclipse.
"Why didn't you tell me you were still alive? I thought I was the only survivor from our squad. I haven't seen you since I saved your ass."

My legal guiradian was the master of a martial arts dojo.  He's been teaching me the ways of the sword since I was five.

Good to know, go introduce yourself to the others. Your bunk number is 308. Now let me eat my brownies.
With that I lost interest in the newcomer and started filling my face with food...

"No. Stefan was an explosive expert. Supplied ammo to us. Your name is Modus now cause you're not Stefan."

Calx walks over to his gun cabinet and pulls out some rounds and a few empty magazines. He brings them back to the bed and begins to load them up.

Stefan raised an eyebrow at Calx.
"Modus? Where'd you get that name from?"
He pulled the knife by his forearm out of its sheath, examined the blade, then put it back in its place. Could use a sharpening.
