Stefan grimaced as the four approached him. On their own, they were no likely threat. With Astrid here, on the other hand...
One of them dropped spontaneously to the ground before vanishing. Sniper fire again?
Another approached him with a sword. Dashing forward, Stefan, landed an elbow directly in the target's skull. He stumbled backwards into the snow. The next one he dispatched with a roundhouse kick, crushing his hip. That left just one. This fine black gentleman had a hammer.
"Astrid, would you say the fact that the black guy has the least efficient weapon is racist?"
"I... no?"
"Okay, cool."
Stefan pulled the last man into a guillotine choke, turning him to Astrid as an invitation to finish the job. She embedded the knife in his back, and the last man vanished.
Stefan noticed Rex being patched up off in the distance, and gave him a hateful glare, his usual humor gone. You don't mess with helpless girls.
"What's wrong, Rex? Can't take care of me and Astrid here yourself? Gotta send in the grunts first?"

Never Miss your target, it will always come back to haunt you

youmissed. youshotandmissedifoundyouandyoumissed
Calx calm look was replaced by one filled with rage.
Nodeathforyouonlypainyoumissedyoumissedyoumissediwontkillyoubutyouwillfeelpain

He fires at the shooters shoulder, and puts his focus back on Stefan, to notice another person had joined the fray, and was charging toward him.

Now you on the other hand, will have your friends drop before you
He fires a round at the four that went for the two who were tethered together.
4 targets remaining
Firing from the same position too many times will get you shot
He takes his eyes of the sight, and begins to crawl down the mountain.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Kain watched Stefan and the girl kill the other three men. Kain watched for anyone else. He noticed someone from Team Nova trying to sneak up on them. He snuck out of the cave he was in. Kain shot the the man from Team Nova. He fell to the ground with no head.

I hear the roar turn to silence, idiots. There is a sniper.
We cant stay in here forever. We need to break that sniper out of his hiding spot! I stood up and started walking towards the exit of the cave. I drew my sword and ran out. The pain in my Gut kept me from going as fast as I could. When i got to where the sound had come from, I saw Stefan with a girl. He was helping that girl kill my men. I drew my gun and fired it at them, every shot missed...

Stefan marched on Rex, holding Astrid in place behind him. His glare didn't cease.
"Rex!" He shouted. Louder than before. "Fire towards Astrid again, and I swear to GOD you'd better hope your death is a quick one!"
Why am I so protective of this girl? Because she's helpless, of course. She needs me right now.

Kain saw Rex shoot at Stefan and the girl. Kain didn't know why he was trying to keep Stefan alive. He shot at Rex. He missed. Kain lined Rex up in the crosshairs of the scope, and tried to shoot him again.

Curse my shooting skills! I picked my sword up off of the ground and charged him. Then a bullet barley missed my head, I dropped and tried to find out who was shooting at me. Kain was aiming at me with a gun. I slid down the small hill I was on and tried to ambush them...

Calx stared at the girl through the sights.
You don't belong here.
Someone was clenching his chest and firing at them.
Unforgivableshedoesntevenneedtobehereandyoushootwellthenyoumaydiewithyourfriendsmyapologies
He lines up a headshot, and fires.

"Oh, hell no, Rex. You're not getting out of this one."
Stefan chased after him, drawing his knife from his forearm and aiming a downward stab to the base of his neck.

Kain's second shot missed too. He had one shot left before he had to reload. Rex slid down the hill. Kain couldn't see him anymore.
Great. I have no idea where he is.
Kain got his spear ready, in case Rex tried to kill him up close.

Stefan felt the cord binding him to Astrid snap. Now she was being left unchecked. Stefan withdrew his knife hand, punching Rex in the chin with the other, and jabbing his finger into Rex's chest.
"Wait here." He was growling at this point.
Stefan trudged back to Astrid. She was fine, but the cable was toast.
"New rule, Astrid. Hide. Hide close. If someone finds you, run towards me."
She nodded and hid herself in some bushes. Stefan nodded and turned back to Rex.

Stefan got off of me, I jumped up and grabbed my sword. Soon he was heading my way again. I threw one of my Surikens into his leg...

Watch the ones you need to keep alive, kill your prey as they get close
The girl began to run, Calx kept her in sight at all times, having to down another two men, and reload.
