He sighs.
"If I must..." In a flash, almost in a sleight-of-hand motion, he reassembles his berettas, and hops into the front seat, adjusting the mirrors, steering wheel position, and seat.
"Standard...good it would be a waste if the shift was automatic."
He steps on the gas. Lurching everyone in the car backwards into their seat.
"zero to sixty in 3.3 seconds..."
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Calx was almost as bad a driver as Stefan. Almost.
Stefan was watching the news, which had taken a break from their usual nonsense to get a real report in.
-The recent Omnicide Breakout, several of the top contestants have escaped, including Stefan, Rex, Demos, Calx, and one sniper who took his own life upon exiting the compound.
Their faces flashed on screen, along with their age and names.
"Hey, did you guys hear that? We're famous... again!"

"Pfft. People using their real names." he chuckles, "People complain about losing their anonymity and then get insulted when someone doesn't recognize them from whatever success they've had."

"Implying that Rex's real name is, in fact, Rex."
The escapees are believed to be armed and extremely dangerous. The director of Omnicide Games is urging anyone who sees them to call the police immediately.

Crimson found the edge of the woods.  It led out to a road.  Crimson followed it, curious on where he would be led to.

"Current velocity: 110 kilometers per hour, or 68 miles per hour. Estimated time of arrival: 2 hours."
Well don't you sound smart?
Smarter than you are

(how about the road leads to where I want it to. Mkay?)
Crimson continued down the road. He looked through the woods and saw what looked like some kind of base.  Then something hit his. He walked right into a sign, indicating that there was a city a few hours up the road.  Which way should I go?

My son, Kratos, 13, showed me a TV of omnicide. There were people that he had seen.

"Besides those top ranks, there are two more people on the list: these two."

They showed a picture of me and Sheene.

"Let us know if you can find these people. Your work and effort will be awarded as we will deal with them."
Even if one person steales waht you deserve, your reward will be even better than the last if you head down the right path.

"Hey, Calx... This person we're meeting in the city... who is it?"

He takes a hand off the wheel and grips the bag around his neck.
"Someone I need to see, but I don't know where they are exactly..."

"Don't know where they are? Then why are we picking this city, out of the millions they could be in?"
Astrid had fallen asleep again. She probably wasn't used to killing people.

I was caught in a day dream when Guss came running in.
Sir! A small government army is on its way here!
Engage Operation Home Base Safety.
Yes sir, but we will need your voice authorization. So speak into this.
Guss pulled down a speaker and turned it on.
Operation Home Base Safety in now in effect.
As soon as I said it a lever came out of the floor. I pushed it down and all of the shutters slammed shut. Out side of the compound automated defenses turned on. Anti air, tank and troops. Further out millions of land mines turned on. Get to me now!
