Not to be rude but... Why do we celebrate St Patrick's Day? Is there a story behind it? Could you tell us?  ;D

Saint Patrick converted (without posting a essay) 90%+ of Ireland(that was pagan at the time) to Catholic(Christian), also haveing a day dedicated to a Saint who had a passion for God and for Ireland just makes it that much more awesome. So its a Christian and Irish pride holiday (of which i am both).

Mother Ireland always loved St. Patrick, and the big yellow circle around his head. :p
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

I'm not Christian OR Irish, so Patty's day is more or less meaningless to me. I didn't even know it was today until I noticed everyone in school had green on.

Saint Patrick's Day is the day that I go down to the parade. I don't watch the parade, rather, I watch the people watching the parade. They're all drunk, and there's always just ONE group that's so drunk they do something stupid and hilarious.

That's what I do when I go to parades. I like to watch the people in the mall too. There are always stupid people to watch and laugh at.

Its i guess what you would call spring break here in Canada right now, so I've been spening most of my days, lazing about, and lurking everyhwere in there forums.
