What is your costume, might I ask? Also, we have a Comic Con here every year, but as for anime conventions, I know the big one here is Mechacon. If I can find a group of friends that wants to go (that'll be super easy) and am not busy, I might actually see if I can go to one of them.

Blades, I usually would to, but unfortunately they don't sell certain parts.

Fai D. Flourite from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. If I wanna go as him, I'll probably have to make his staff myself. (I should be able to buy the other stuff, but it's expensive, as usual. >.>)

If all else fails, I can wear my costume from last year, but I'd rather not.

The only thing is, Mechachon starts before school, and so won't also interfere with practice as much, but Comicon is in February, so that might be a little bigger issue, but I'll have to just wait and see, I guess. Now that I found out that some of The Walking Dead stars will be there, though, I'm super determined to go.

It looks extremely cool and will be at Mechacon.

EDIT: They also have cosplay chess. Similar to chess in Harry Potter. You call out the moves, and when one piece goes to take over another, the two real life chess pieces fight each other.

And fenror I agree I'd much rather just wear my own clothes but I'd love to go to a convention and see everone in the same costume and I don't kbow what a battle pod is but looks awesome .

Well, I won't necessarily wear it all three days. I mean, Fai's costume is an insane number of layers, and it'll be August... But, Humen. I do hope you realize that at Otakon, the number of people who wear regular clothes are outnumbered by the cosplayers. I kid you not.

My mom didn't believe me. Then she chaperoned me and my friends last year.
