Rivals

Rokpictures:
I don't think the beginning of the game should be completely controlled by your choice of starter pokemon or hometown. I think it should be centered around your rival to. I think rivals should be a huge part of starting. I think in this game rivals should not only be nuisance but sometimes a friend. You should also be able to choose your rival. for example you could choose Gary Oak or another player. Please tell me what you think and elaborate on them. ;D

Now, to tell the truth out of all the discussions, we, the people of PU have had, I don't remember this one. But, before you make other topics use the search bar. (Not sure if this one has been talked about)

As this is an MMO, I kinda assumed people would rather have real life players as their rivals, rather than an NPC. But hey, that's just my feeling.

Wrathes:
Soul, there has been one but was never brought up much.  It's an interesting idea though. I'm not sure how the makers will proceed on this idea. It just seems a lot of work and perhaps another new system be added into the game to make this idea function.

Kamaran:
This all depends on the storywriters and if they want a main NPC to be ones rival throughout the game.

We do however expect people to find rivals (and friends) among eachother, and thus the rival-battles will not be programmed and predictable.
