What are they like?
« on: March 31, 2011, 11:29:19 PM »
Okay. I searched and there was nothing on this. So...

Has the PU Team made Gym Leaders, personalities, Sprites, Teams? Also I hope you can see them in this Region later on like in the games. But if you haven't I could help. And this could be a topic to post ideas for them. Also the Elite Four. And I'm sure you guys will want to do the Champion.

Anyway, please post and give feedback. (Also if you haven't don't lock please. Like I said. Me and others can give ideas.

I made a thread just like this but it was forgotten so lets keep this one.
I offered to help make the Gym leader's teams.

Yeah. I don't want them to have special movesets like there is in PO either, you know?

Maybe a Substitute/Toxic combo for their best Pokemon. But no more. You know what I mean.

My plan was to make the first 7 weak, or easy to beat, the next 5 intermediate, they have better teams, and the last 5 advanced, they have fully developed teams.

There are more then 8 Gyms?

How about. If its OK with the team. Me and you make Teams. I'll make personalities, and body stuff. And Sprite guys obviously make the Sprites.

The game page says that there is a gym for each type.
The order I think the gyms should come in are:
Beginner:
Rock
Poison
Bug
Normal
Electricity
Grass
Water

Intermediate:
Ghost
Ice
Fire
Psychic
Flying

Advanced:
Dragon
Steel
Dark
Ground
Fight

You know what would be cool.  If the gym leader's pokemon's levels were somehow tied to yours.  Like if I walked into the first gym with a Lvl 25 Charmelon and the rest of my team are all lvl 5

The gym leaders pokemon's levels would range from 26-23/24.  Making strategy and a balanced team needed.  This would remove power leveling and actually make gyms a challenge.

The right move set can do that. I still think that there should be some sort of level cap between each gym match. Or the gym leader will only challenge you if your pokemon are a certain level...

Oh, sorry about that.

How about if the team accepts. You do teams. I would prefer to decide the Pokemon for the Normal, Dark and Dragon Gyms tho.

I meant decide the Pokemon. But is it okay if I do Dark. I'll repay you somehow, I was gonna base the Gym Leader off myself :P

Actually what is the team. For all I know I could like it.
