The BIG transportation topic (bikes, skateboards, etc..)

Why use only bikes?

It'd be a cool feature if we could use:

-Skateboards
-Scooters
-Skates

A mess of players  riding around on bikes is no fun at all, so why not mix things up with some other means of ground transportation? It'll also add another nice layer of customization to the game.

I'm pretty sure there was a topic about this on the old website... Anyway, I think the conclusion was that there probably would be more than one method of transport.
To be perfectly honest, after getting the HM fly (Hopefully this will work like in the GBA/DS games) I only use a bike to get to new towns.

Ugh, so annoying. I wasn't very active on the old site so my knowledge of what topics were on it are shoddy.  ::)

I know there'll be different types of bikes, but using a skateboard would be awesome. :P

I was just thinking more available means of transport other then bikes.

I'll look into this when I'm going to implement transportation. I can assure you there will be other kinds of transportation than bikes.
