Pretty much this. Instead of bikes, you can ride a pokemon.

i agree that riding pokemon would be good but not instead of bikes because some pokemon will be unrideable (ditto or some ghost types ect).

Or make it like in Pokemon Ranger. Only some pokemon can be ridden. Therefore, you get only about a dozen pokemon, making about 144 sprites.

while i am sort of against riding pokemon it would be cool to ride an Arcanine

lol, if following poke' sprites are considered time consuming.

I'd hate it for the person that'd have to make the riding poke' sprites
