talking pokemon?

hey i thought it would be a cool idea if psychic pokemon and pokemon like lucario could talk to you! it would be really cool to be able to converse with your team and maybe there could be friendship levels. just tought i was a good idea.

Um, I'm not sure what your pokemon would tell you about each time you want to converse... and even giving it a couple of random lines will be boring after some time.

Happiness will be implemented, so I don't think that friendship will be needed.

If this idea were implemented... I'd say Psychic types would be shy... in other words, for them to talk to you, they would need Max Happiness.

As for their lines, it could be things like:

What to do next
Area information
Asking questions
Like/Dislike something?
Comments on the Party Pokemon

....And other things like that.

There could be some NPC's with psychic pokemon who could say more than just "PikaPika" or "Guguguwaawa", maybe even having some thoughts about the player, such as first impressions, or, if the pokemon was involved in a quest involving the pokemon and it's trainer where the player helps them, it could give the player a thank-you, and, possibly after the first time spoken to, the pokemon could give the player a gift not part of the quest reward as a sign of gratitude. If it were team pokemon, unless there was some area where Pokemon are able to be outside their pokeball, I haven't heard of any way the player could interact with the pokemon party.
