I heard sirens rapidly approach me, and soon enough, a Fire Engine stopped near me.

"Who are you, and did you start this fire?"
"Come now, I'm only a helpless girl, do you think I really burned those trees?"
"Well...no, but there are a lot of weird things happening here. You do look somewhat guilty, are you sure you aren't responsible?"
"Catch me if you can..."
"Wait! You didn't answer me!"
I sped up, jumped, and bounded off a tree, fleeing farther along the lake.

Where is Magnum?  He's late.

A solider from delta squad raised his hand.

We saw him slip out into the town on our security cameras.

Great... Krista, go after him.

Yes, sir.

I'll activate the tracking beacon in his clothes.  Follow the signal to him.

Yes, sir.  I will retrieve him without fail.

Good, take delta squad.  Do not engage without my permission, unless it's your only option.

Krista and delta squad headed out into the city tracking Magnum.

They led me into yet another room and once again sat down. Like before they motioned me to join them. I sat down and waited for them to talk. We sat in silence for at least an hour when they finaly dicided to talk to me.
We will call you... Shippo. Shippo, you will learn to shift here. We will leave you here alone and you will see animals, if you want to eat...you will shift into that animal and learn how to use it.

With that they got up and left the room. I didn't even get to protest the name they gave me... Soon a screen appeared and a picture of a Guinea Pig was displayed on it. I easily shifted into the animal, but could not figure why any one would ever shift into this form. Then it hit me, no one in there right mind would pick this form in a million years. Almost as though the room had senced my thoughts the picture changed into one of a cheetah. This was easy I thought...

Chase here, whats the situation Krista?

We've found Magnum, He's been taking by the resistance.

Damn it.  Wait for Darren and his squad to arrive before breaching.  I want Magnum back alive.

Understood, Krista out.

Chase sighed and radioed Darren.

Darren, take your squad and head to Krista's location.  Don't wait for me to breech.  I'll be there when I can.

Click... Chase put down his radio flames started to swirl around him.  He popped a pill to control his temper and ran out the door.

As soon as I shifted blades started flying at me from ever direction. I shifted into the guinea pig, it was all I could do to avoid the blades. The door opened and they walked in.
Good, now lets go, you are ready.
What? Only two tests?
Yes, lets go, Chase is planning something, we need your shifting set...

I woke up tied to a chair, I couldn't see any electrical traces so I opened my eyes but the lights were on, how could I not have detected that?

I aimed my fingers towards the wall, nothing, I cannot even fire electricity. I look directly at the light, I stare at it for a short while, nothing happens. How can my powers be inactive? How could I just lose them? What happened after the last training session?

I dozed back off to sleep.

They took me to a room with a window. i looked in and could see a person tied up.
Why is he in there like that?
Because, he is an agent of Chase. Chase now knows that we are here, so we must leave. They will find his corpse here, nothing else.
You can't kill him! We could use him to feed Chase false info! Think of the oproturnity you would be killing!
The old man stopped to think.
What the kid says it true. Shippo, you will feed him false info, lead Chase into a trap.
I walked into the room with the person and sat down in a chair across the room.

Magnum woke up to a tall figure standing infront of him, blocking the light.

It's you! what are you doing here, why have you tied me up.? Don't you know what Chase is planning, he wants the perfect world, why do you want to stop that? What did you do to my powers?

There were too many questions that Magnum wanted to ask.

Hello, I am sure you know who I am. I am here to tell you that you are going to be killed unless you talk.
I had never interigated a person before, I was making this up as I went. I figured that I had to prove that I meant business. I walked up to a buzzer on the wall and pressed it.

One of the shifters shifted into a huge disfigured human and walked into the room.

Darren and his squad arrived at the location of the resistance base. 

Krista, Chase said we are not to wait for him.  I want you and your squad to surround the base.  Don't let anyone leave alive.  Got it?

Understood, Squad, fan out and surround the building.  Aim all snipers at any possible exits.

Good, I'll leave this to you.  Let's go get the door charges ready.

(Random squad member) Sir, yes sir.

Darren walked off towards the base.  Preparing to breech.

The old man oppned the door.
Its too late, they are here. We must flee.
He walked up to magninum and put his hands on his head.
He won't feel a thing.
A second later we were out of the base and watching Chase's force take the building...

uh-oh there here, its time to leave!
okay i'll heal the van.
we walked out and i healed the van, and drove out, and saw the shifters.need a lift? i asked the shifters.

No thanks.
We all shifted into birds and flew in different directions. I shifted into a mole and dug my way under ground...

they didn't want it, so we started driving away now where are we going?

yep, but were not going until we get chase off of us,so he can't follow us.

i grab a piece of metal,and turn into a drill,i then climb on top of the van, and mount the drill on the front, and turn it on.go into that cliff side!
you sure this will work and get down!
i climb inside yeah, it'll work.....i hope.
well, i don't have a better plan.
the van drives in and we start drilling through it worked!
