It would be kinda cool if there were two SZs

One (the first) would be for regular poke's that vary in types lvls and etc (like a normal safari zone)

while the second would be an entire "safari island"

It would be home to much stronger poke's and would be ideal for upper lvl players and would be basically the ideal training area.

on the North part of the island, it could house varying types of ice pokes

On the South end of the island, There would be an abundance of water types.

The east and/or west could house insects, random plant/grass types

There could be a cave in the center of the island that leads downward instead of upward.

And the futher down you get, the stronger the poke's you encounter and on the last floor, the player is more likely to come across lava/fire type poke's

I had a couple other ideas earlier but cant remember them. but this is something i thought about earlier.

WOuld something like this be do~able?
Am I a ghost or a man? Or a man-ghost offspring that come from mi father's inexplicable penetration of mi mother's ghostly woman parts? Or am I a child imitating a man's ability to change into a ghostly form in order to preserve mi appellation?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that you didn't battle in the safari zone? So do you mean the ideal training area for player levels??
Also will the lmited balls and steps be used? These always used to annoy me when I was searching for a particular pokemon.

Also will the limited balls and steps be used?
- No idea, we don't have anything concrete yet.

In this SZ are we  going to have to put berries in the berry holders if we want to attract a better pokemon then, say, oddish. I always hated doing that because I never knew what to put in the holder.

Ok. But if possible keep these things in mind when it comes time to decide.

I know nothing has been made conrete yet about the safari zone, as Mr_Dark reiterated multiple times, but I think the idea of two safari zones by ghostman50 was excellent.  One safari zone could be on the mainland where it was just like the standard RBY/RSE safari zone where your only weapons are your rocks and your treats.  This safari zone should contain very rare pokemon only catchable here or maybe just have it earlier in the game, making these rare pokemon catchable later in the game in the wild.  The safari island however, could be an island like ghostman50 said with all of his details.  Some things I would like to add on though include maybe it requires a special item like a card key to access and different parts may only be accessible by different leveled trainers.  You would be able to bring your pokemon in it, catching the island pokemon just like you would anyother but these pokemon would be a tad bit more difficult to beat and much more difficult to catch.  Just a thought....

I don't think having extremely rare pokemon in the SZ is a good idea. The idea of a rare pokemon is that it is hard to find, not hard to battle. If you just put a lot of rare pokemon in the SZ, that defeats the purpose of "rare". I think that if the safari zone is created, it should include pokemon that are only catchable inside it, but not both inside and out.

I'm sorry I worded that wrong.  "Extremely rare" was a bit of a hyperbole.  That's basically what I meant.  Thanks for the clarification.

I agree with Pwadman, having an area with rare pokemon would defeat the purpose of it being rare, maybe just higher leveled pokemon that you could unlock once you do a certain quest, or defeat a certain gym leader.

Safari Zone's usually have common grass/water types found in other area's of a region, but they also have those horribly rare types only found in a specific zone. Usually dragon types like dratini or other starter types are hiding deep within the safari's. That is what makes the place so popular and why there is a cost and time limit.

If you could go in for free for unlimited amounts of time the rare Pokemon wouldn't be hard to find, defeating the place's purpose.

exactly. and what you called the 'second sz' wouldn't really be a sz if you could fight there. plus a place like that would get really crowded once everyone was at a high enough level
