[RP] Rising Legends [K:Evening|O:Night|Spring 3]

The helicopter passes overhead, landing in the center of the open space. The helicopter quiets down as the blades slow their rotation. Professor Oak jumps out, and sees me. He walks over to me.

-Hey, how's it going?

-Pretty good considering we just outran a colony of Zubats.

-What?

-Long, unrelated story. Latias is with Sarah behind those boulders. Be careful, she's REALLY timid.

-Got it.

-Wait, before you go, what in the hell made you think it was a good idea to bring your helicopter here?

-Come on, it was the fastest mode of transport.

-That may be so, but do you really want to risk agitating an injured pokemon?

-I guess you're right.

-*sigh* I don't know, maybe that's just me being a whiny kid, you should go check out Latias.

I always got like this with the professor. I don't know why, I was always overly-serious with people like him.

Professor Oak slowly makes his way to the other side of the boulders. He stands gaping at what he saw. Sarah turns up to look at him.

-Oh, hey Professor.

-Uuuhhh, Sarah...How did you manage to...That's not important right now. Let me see if I can figure out what's wrong.

-Before you start, there's something you should know.

-Oh? What's that?

-Team Rocket's had their hands on her.

Oak stands there silently, but his expression changes from curious to a mixture of sadness and hatred.

-I can't tell what, but they've done some kind of experiments on her, as well as put her through really tough training. She's been through a lot, so that might change what you can do.

Sarah was getting serious with the professor as well.

-Well, I'll do what I can. I don't think it'll be too difficult, but she can probably make a full recovery.

Sarah smiles, as she's happy to know this pokemon will be okay.

-That's good. Thanks.

Professor Oak comes behind the boulders to try to help Latias. At first, it appears he's just looking at the pokemon, but then he gets a little closer, trying to look for specific damage. He reaches out to touch her wing to see if there's been any damage to it.

Latias shifts her body a bit to get his hand away from her, as she looks at Sarah, who she trusted and wanted to see if it was okay, in a worried face. Her body was full of scraps and scratches, dirty from the dirt.

Sarah could see Latias was a little scared.

-It's okay, he's gonna make you feel better soon.

Professor Oak smiles at Latias to try to show her he means no harm.

[Aquashin]

Latias nods gently and stays quiet. to let the professor touch her wings

"okay... i trust you..."

After a couple minutes of checking Latias for injuries, Professor Oak stands up.

-Well, she has a couple scratches and she has muscle strain, as well as overuse of her abilities.

-So what does that mean?

-It means that Latias just needs a trip to the pokemon center, a week off from doing any battling, and some psychic rehabilitation.

-Psychic rehabilitation?

-It means exercises that help to bring her psychic powers back up. Normally, her psychic powers are much greater than this, but whatever happened in those experiments really wore her powers out.

Sarah looks at Latias, elated to hear her new friend will be okay.

-You're gonna be just fine!

-Now, this is no place for her to stay. I think she should come back to my lab. There, she can regain her strength without worry.

-I'm not so sure. A valuable Team Rocket asset just escaped their bases. They're gonna be out there looking for her, and your lab is a prime target.

-That doesn't mean we can't hide her.

I smiled and looked up at him.

-You've got this all figured out, haven't you?

-Not in the slightest!

-Huh?!

-I still don't even know what Latias likes to eat!

He laughed to himself.

-But we'll fix each problem as it comes along. First what we should do is get Latias into the helicopter.

-Alright. Latias, I'm gonna need you to try to fly. Sarah and I will help you all the way to the helicopter, but we'll need you to try, alright?

-You can do it, don't worry!

[Aquashin]

Latias nods and starts hovering slowly

"hovering i can...speed up flying i cant..."

Sarah and I get close to Latias in case she falls.

-That should be all you need to do.

-Just hover over to the helicopter. We'll be with you the whole way.

[Aquashin]

Sarah was the one Latias trusted the most, to Latias, Sarah was like a mother figure that she never had so she felt well with sarah's words and nods hovering slowly reaching the helicopter

The three of us slowly make our way to the helicopter. When we finally reach it, there's a medical bed to put Latias in.

-Hang on. If she's gonna be in this thing, won't we have to strap her down?

-Yes, I don't see your point.

-The you-know-whats?

-...Right...Well, she could fit into a normal seat where she'd be more comfortable. But we can't have her in here without being secured.

-The chair will probably end up being better.

I hoped Latias knew I was going to all of this trouble to make sure she felt safe.

[Aquashin]

latias looks at them and then at Sarah

"as long as she comes too... i dont mind being straped down while in this thing..."

Sarah thinks for a moment.

-Let's put her in the bed. I think it'll be safer for her if she's willing to do it.

-Alright, let's put her in.

We moved her onto the bed and strapped the belts over her. The bed then extended it's legs, moving her up about 2 feet.

-We're gonna be back there with her.

Professor Oak looked back at me like I was crazy, but I gave him a serious stare that said 'We're not leaving until you let me get what I want and she needs.

-Looks like there's no talking you out of this. There are fold down seats on the walls.

The two of us rolled the cart to the back of the helicopter and the door is closed behind us. Professor Oak gets in the side door and straps in. We find the seats in the wall and fold them out and strap in as well. Oak's pilot starts the engines, and it gets pretty loud back here. After a couple seconds of letting the blades speed up, we finally take off, headed for Oak's lab.

-So. How are you feeling so far?

[Aquashin]

Latias was shivering but trying her best to hold on and not lose control of herself

"the sound is too much... but i can handle it i think..."

[Tickles]

I was on the floor, barely able to move. My substitutes faded away. I didn't reach a higher power than before, in fact, my training failed altogether. I exhausted myself pretty bad, I would need to rest up quite a bit before going to my next expedition.

I'm too old for this.

I remembered being hunted back in Sinnoh, back at my home. Everyone hated me because of my power. How would people react now. That man wanted to catch me, and I could tell his intentions were to sell me off somewhere. If I would have been ca[tured, I don't know what could have happened to me.

That was too close of a call. I need to be more careful.

[Mr. Fox]

I arrived at my home and put the eggs in the cooler.

-I really hate this job sometimes. "I will call you with more Info later." I am the one with the eggs, he has my money.

I punched the wall causing a bit of dust to fall on my nose. I sneezed startling my pokemon awake.

-Bout time you slackers got up. You guys slept through the entire day, and almost got me killed by a Darkrai. Ah, hell, who am I getting angry at, he put you to sleep with one of the most powerful sleep inducing moves around.

I punched the wall again, causing more dust to fall. Then I remembered my groceries. I walked into my kitchen and tossed each of my pokemon some Pokefood.

-Eat up slackers.

I put the rest of my food away then sat down. My ankle had been hurting all day and it was time to take a look at it. I pulled my shoe and sock off and was very disappointed. My ankle had swollen to about twice its normal size and looked like it was sprained. This wasn't my day...

Manaphy jumps out of the backpack onto the floor and goes in the room darkrai went into and saw him on the floor.Hm...maybe you shouldn't you know, train so hard that it backfires and you can't do anything anymore?
