[RP] Rising Legends [K:Evening|O:Night|Spring 3]

-Well from what I can see, it looks like you're feeling a lot better, huh?

-Cuz if you're feeling better, you'll probably be just fine.

-But if you don't know what to do or where to go, then it doesn't make sense to leave you to yourself, we can't have you getting in danger again.

-Brother, I thought it was already implied.

-A big word like implied huh? So what's that?

-If she doesn't have anywhere to go, it doesn't make sense to leave her alone. And if she's already healed, it doesn't make sense for her to stay here where she can't move around as much.

-So what you're saying is...

-Latias...Do you want to come with us?

[Tickles]

I was still a little sore, but it was easy to ignore now. I decided to go look at the map I scratched into the wall. The ship was located in the east, and there was nothing further than that but more dessert, then the ocean. We came from the cavern where that strange stone was, and we came from one of those islands where pokemon resided. I figured we can check out the mountain in the region, but it was heavily populated by humans, so we would need to approach it very carefully.

It's settled then, we're going to the mountains, may be something interesting below those human made ledges.

I returned to my meditation, patiently waiting for the morning.

[Aquashin]

Latias looks at both of them and tilts her head a bit looking at them

"go with you? where?"

[Darkstar64]

-Does it matter? We'll explore all over the place!

-We actually will be exploring the whole region, so it'll be nice to explore, if you'd like that.

[Aquashin]

Latias smiles and nods to them

"if it means beign with you two, then sure... it will be my thanks for all you did"

Latias smiles and lunges to Sarah nuzzling her cheek gently

-That is adorable.

Sarah tries to kick me as she hates being called cute or adorable.

I pull out my pokenav to look at the map. We're back between Cerulean and Vermilion.

[Aquashin]

Latias looks at them

"so... i need to be caught or something?... i heard about trainers when i was there... pokemon that were stolen from trainers told me alot of storys that they catch pokemons with some kind of pokiboll or something like that, making them theirs..."

[Darkstar64]

-Well, I'm not sure if we need to. I mean, we're not really catching you, you're more of a friend.

-But I think a pokeball would be safer. That way, we could hide her when passing Team Rocket grunts, as well as keep her from being caught by others.

-So maybe it is smarter to have you in a pokeball.

Professor Oak was standing off to the side, amused at how we were figuring out the situation on our own.

-Let me see if I can find one.

I start digging around in my bag for a pokeball.

[Aquashin]

Latias looks at them a bit curious

(something is going to happen when they try to catch her)

[Darkstar64]

(Nope!)

-Huh? They were here just a second ago...

-What happened to them?

-I don't think anything...wait...Dang, I left them in our room last night.

-Oh, great...

-Well, if you want, you can borrow a pokeball from me.

-That would be great! Thanks Professor!

The professor pulls a pokeball from his lab coat, but it looks different than most pokeballs.



-This is a Cherish Ball. It was made to commemorate a special event. And I'd say this is a pretty special event.

-You'll really let us use a pokeball like this?

The professor nods, and tosses the Cherish Ball towards me. I catch it and turn to face Latias. But...

-I think Sarah should do it.

-But she's...

-She may not be a trainer, but she's who Latias trusts the most. Plus, her capture will count as my pokemon since she won't be able to hold any pokemon yet. Then when she becomes a trainer, I'll give Latias to her.

I hand Sarah the Cherish Ball.

-Ready Latias?

[Aquashin]

Latias nods looking at Sarah aproaching her

Sarah tosses the pokeball up in the air. It hits Latias and she gets pulled inside. The Cherish Ball shakes a couple times, then sits still. Sarah goes to pick up the pokeball. She tosses it, and Latias appears in front of them.

I look off into the distance to see that Oak's fields stretch out a long ways. The, I see something in the distance.

I can faintly see two platforms on a machine that is designed to raise and lower them. Off to the sides, there are empty bleachers. I can see a couple people with flying pokemon, as well as a couple people running around, setting up speakers.

-What's going on down there?

-Oh, I forgot to tell you! I'm hosting the Strongest Wings tournament tomorrow! It's an event for trainers who specialize in flying pokemon. I'd highly advise going to see it...

Professor Oak looks over at Latias.

-...or participate in it.

-Hey, that sounds fun! Lets do it, big brother!

-It's not to late to join in!

-I'll do it.

-Yaaaaay!

-If Latias says yes too.

Sarah looks over at Latias.

-Pleeeeeeease?

[Aquashin]

Latias looks at it and then at them

"if you tell me what to do, sure, as thanks for all you did"

[Darkstar64]

(Time changed.)

-We only did what any trainer and sister would have done.

-Well, not all of them, but that doesn't matter right now.

-I think you two will have a good advantage in this tournament, since Latias is as fast of a flyer as she is. But be careful, there are some pretty powerful trainers in the tournament.

-Alright, I will.

-You two head home, I'll enroll you in the tournament for you.

-You will? Thanks, professor!

We begin our walk home, wondering what our mom will think when we come home a day after we leave.

Latias smiles and follows them, more closely to Sarah as she was nuzzling her cheek
