[RP] Rising Legends [K:Evening|O:Night|Spring 3]

Snivy's Twister becomes all that more powerful from the extra spinning. It captures all of the flames, and hits Togekiss, causing considerable damage.

-Latias, use Dragonbreath on Togekiss! Snivy, Vine Whip on Raichu!

Snivy used Vine Whip, but not in the way I expected. He jumped off of Latias, used the vines to cushion his fall, then used the vines to throw Raichu at Togekiss. I didn't even know he was that powerful.

-Snivy Sni! (Attack them both!)

(I feel so stupid doing the pokemon impression...)

[Tickles]

(Since time passed)


Just as I thought, not a berry bush, not even a small..

I stopped there. I knew Staraptors ate smaller pokemon sometimes, but I didn't want to scare Manaphy.

Let's never mind that for now. Lets head to hat berry patch, it's on an other island near the one we were on yesterday.

I flew off from the mountain, avoiding human eyes.

(Trip will be a while, but not long. MT Battle isn't far from the islands.)

Latias nods and gathers some energy, then releases it, launching a purplish beam at both Raichu and Togekiss

The two spiral downwards and hit the ground. They were on the verge of defeat.

Snivy, Twister, Leaf Tornado and Razor Leaf. Latias, Dragonbreath again.

Snivy creates a large mass of swirling winds, dragon energy, and razor-sharp leaves. He waits for Latias to use Dragonbreath on it.

-Togekiss, Aurasphere! Raichu, Slam!

They were still dazed, and it took them a while to finally get up.

[Mr. Fox]

I walked back into the tent, good thing the kids didn't live to far from here. I hadn't misses much, looked like they were winning so far. I patted someone one the shoulder.

-Anywhere I can place bets around here.
-Nothing formal, but sure, fifty buck gets you in. We cash out every round.
-One hundred on the kids.

They were going to win, that Latias was going to win it for them.

[Aquashin]

Latias nods and launches Dragon breath on Snivy's attack, making it even more powerfull

Snivy's attack becomes a massive whirlwind. Just as Togekiss and Raichu get up and prepare to attack, Snivy launches the attack, hitting both pokemon and winning the match.

-And the winner is Jason! Congratulations!

The crowd was cheering for my win. I could see Sarah was excited as well.

-You useless pokemon!

I managed to hear this over the sound of screaming fans.

-How could you lose this for me?! We've never lost before, and all of a sudden, you're slacking! I can't believe that you two can't beat a CHILD! You're worthless!!

His pokemon were looking up at him, horrified. Neither of them said anything or moved. Just stood there and took a 'beating'.

I snapped.

(More swearing...Can't make it orange, but that is Jason.)

I yelled that into the microphone. The cheering that was coming from the crowd went silent.

The platform lowered. Someone was coming over to talk to me. I dodged by them and ran straight for Brandon.

-Did you just say 'You useless pokemon'? Did you just call your pokemon 'worthless'?

-...No.

I turn to his pokemon.

-Did he just call you worthless and useless?

They hesitated, but then nodded. I was horrified. He couldn't handle losing and took it out on his pokemon. Terrible. The person who was supposed to come talk to me finally reached us.

-Jason, what's the problem here?

-He just called his pokemon worthless and useless because he lost.

-Is this true?

-N-No, he's lying! I'd never call my pokemon worthless! Right, guys?

They didn't want to be abused more by going back to him, but they didn't want to be left alone after becoming dependent on their trainer. Raichu simply looked back and forth trying to come to a decision, but after a couple seconds, Togekiss started to cry. That's what REALLY bothered me. Togekiss were supposed to stand for happiness and peace and love. To see one cry was not just unheard of, but deemed impossible. A huhbub came over the crowd, still in the dark as to what was happening, only knowing I had yelled into the microphone about 'kicking his ass'.

-I have to say, thing's aren't looking good for you, Brandon.

Raichu finally decides, and stands behind me, hiding behind my leg. Togekiss is still crying. The man looks over at Brandon, looking disappointed.

-Fine, keep my pokemon! You won the battle anyway, you won them!

The man glances at Togekiss.

-Not so fast. You're under arrest.

-For what, Pokemon abuse?

-Yes. I only have to look to see that you've abused your pokemon.

The man lifts Togekiss' wing. Under the feathers, you can see it's really red.

-Care to explain?

-It's actually a funny story. You see-

He tries to run away, but it quickly apprehended by the officer standing conveniently off to the side.

(Kinda long...sorry, Just REALLY wanted to do this.)

[Tickles]

I made it to the grassy island. I landed right in the berry patch I found when I first came to this region. I collapsed here after flying for hours. I awoke to find some pokemon around me, angry that I caused them nightmares. That's when I started my training, almost 20 years ago. But this time was different, I was here to show Manaphy everything there is to the region, I had a true purpose, I wasn't a monster anymore.

Eat up, I know you must be hungry after that whole trip.

I grabbed a few berries myself and began to eat. The only things here were some Sitrus berry bushes, and a few Chople berry bushes, but it was enough to satisfy me.

Manaphy, when Staraptor comes tomorrow, I want you to stay in the pond. Just trust me on it okay.

[Aquashin]

Latias flys back to Jason then to Togekiss, she nudges Togekiss head gently then starts using Heal Pulse on Togekiss, doing her best to heal Togekiss injuries

"feeling better?"

Latias smiles to Togekiss, as a way to show Togekiss she would be okay from now on

Police, they must know about the kids house. Then I saw him.

James:

I waded through the crowd I needed to find Jason and Sarah. I found my way to the platform and found a few kids arguing with the person they just beat.

-Excuse me are you Jason? If so I need to talk to you right now, bring your friend Sarah.

Manaphy jumps on the bushes and starts eating berrys.Berrys are good.

(This would be a longer post but I'm afraid to make my own events, like a Pokemon getting mad at us again etc, besides, I don't know what Pokemon would be here.)

-I will in a moment. Let me clean up here.

Togekiss was fully revived, and his wing (Yes, his) was feeling much better. He launched himself high up into the air, almost as fast as Latias was able to do. He dove back down, and landed in front of Latias.

-Thank you so much.

Togekiss smiled at Latias, grateful for her help.

Raichu walked over to Togekiss, happy for her (Yes, her) friend. I didn't even notice Sarah behind me. She stood quietly.

-I'll make an announcement about what happened here, you go along with him.

-Thanks.

I turn back to Togekiss and Raichu.

-Togekis, Raichu, both of you come with me for a while. We'll figure the rest out a little later.

The two nod, and I look back to the officer.

-It might be better to talk in private.

(That was a little jumbled...)

I soon arrived in Cerulean, and started surfing the net. I notice soemthing though, it seems that tournament thing already started, and a young competitor just won a round and he had a...! LATIAS?! How many legendaries are in this region? I shake it off, and get back to buisness. I typed, "who is kanto's pokemon master", and a whole bunch of results came up. I clicked the top one and froze, in both confusion and anger. It was HIM. Who would have thought, the champion used to be my master, Lance. I was tempted to punch thscreen in, throw it out the window and make Shelgon use Draco Meteor on it, but then I remember I was in public. Here's my motivation, defeat the gym leaders and get revenge on my formal master.

I'll get you lance... I SWEAR I will...

I walk out and rush tward the gym.

Latias smiled to the pokemon and follwoed Jason since she was curious as well

James:
-Sorry to interrupt, but this is very important. I need to ask you a few questions. Please follow me to my car. Don't worry the Tournament will be put on hold till you get back.

I pointed towards the exit of the tent and waited for them to move. I scanned the crowd looking for any familiar faces, I though I saw him, but if I did he was gone when I looked again.
