I know, I'm a lot older than I look. It's been a while since I've been in a real battle like that. But that man...

I could still see his face, his Salamance, the way he used them were like toys. But they followed his every order without hesitation, and looked happy to do so. Was this what pokemon became?

I got up and went over by the pond.

How is this water treating you anyway?

Manaphy went over to teh pond and jumped in.Great! its wet!

I didn't know how old that water was, or why it was able to remain here for however long it has. It was here before I came to this ship.

Well, I'm glad for you. Nice change of pace to relax every so often. We may head out to explore again tomorrow, there are a lot of secrets on this island, and I want an apprentice who is willing to learn. Will you be that apprentice?

Alright get some rest, we head out in the morning.

I went back to my area of the ship and began to meditate. It would be wrong to eat Manaphy's dreams, I guess I need to wait this damage out.

I'll look at the map tomorrow, maybe somewhere east this time.

Weavile finished patching up my foot.

I got up and limped to my lab. I powered up my computer and logged in. I pulled up the internet and began searching for any info on Powerful Darkrai. I found quite a few web sites telling of one that was run out of the Shinno region. He was rumored to be one of the most powerful pokemon alive. It said that he was able to put entire cites to sleep and sap the life from them all before they woke in the morning. I dismissed most of those as mere rumors, but if any of them were true, I could ask any price and anyone would pay it to have him. A tap on the glass snapped me out of my daze. It was Weavile. I got up and walked to the door.

-What do you need?
-Weavile...
-More food? You know where it is, and you know its not off limits. I have some work to do, don't bother me again, thank you.

I sat back down and resumed my search on the Darkrai.

-You can run, but you can't hide!

The mysterious person is rummaging through his desk, looking for something. He finds it, or rather them, and puts it out on the desk. He picks up his phone, and calls his 'employee'.

(That's you, fox!)

-It'll be fine! It's loud, but once we get to Oaks lab, it's be peaceful and quiet!

My phone started to ring sending my head flying off of my desk. I stood up and kicked my desk with my bad ankle causing me to send out a storm of cuss words. I grabbed my phone still cussing and answered it.

-Hello! What the hell do you want!

-Temper temper. Don't want me to cut that reward in half, now do we?

Anyway, did you get the eggs?

(Breaks like that in the middle of speaking mean I'm giving you a chance to speak.)

[Mr. Fox]

-Screw you. You hung up on me after I got tossed by a Darkrai, not the best day to hang up on me dude. Yes I do have the eggs. They are safe and secure for now. Let me warn you, you think about double crossing the payment, I will hunt you down and kill your family in front of you. Now, where do we meet?

I had just given him the attitude that had made me famous among bounty hunters. I am one of the few bounty hunters who isn't afraid to threaten his clients.

-You stay put. I'll send an admin to where you are.

He hung up. He called an admin in, handed him the two things he was searching for in his desk, gave him the payment, and showed him the way to the location.

(Fox, make a post about anything. I'll change the time, and we'll continue.)

The phone went dead. I tried to stand up, but my ankle wouldn't allow me to put any pressure on it. I sat back down and started scooting my chair towards the lab door. I opened it and yelled at my pokemon.

-See if we have any sort of wheels lying around please.

I could hear some comotion as my pokemon started looking around for a few random wheels of any kind. I scooted to the motion tracker and radar and flipped them on. I liked to know when someone was getting close to my home. I deactivated the device concealing the door to my home and sat back in my chair. The pain was nearly unbearable at this point and the rise in floor level between the lab and my main house prevented me from going to far.

-Bring me some pain killers and a glass of water please!

The admin soon found his way to the base. He jumped off of his Fearow and went up to the door.

(Pause, cuz I figure you'll see him on the motion tracker)

I opened the door leaning on my makeshift crutch.

-Money, then eggs.
