[RP] Rising Legends [K:Evening|O:Night|Spring 3]

After flying for a while, we finally reached Oak's lab. We landed on the helipad just outside his lab. The blades slow, and things quiet down.

-Alright, we're here. I'll come back there and get the belts off.

Professor Oak unbuckles from his chair, and walks back to the back of the helicopter. By the time he gets back there though, we already have the belts off Latias.

-Huh. I guess I'm getting slow. Open the hatch!

His pilot puls a lever, and the large door behind us, revealing the large, green expanse of grass. It had a couple of pokemon of all sizes roaming the fields.

-So what do you think, Latias?


-Lt. Surge-

I trained my pokemon a little and got them rested in the past hour, then I went back into the gym.

So, is it my turn now?

(Sorry for the long delay! Be willing to call me out, as I'll probably end up missing it.)

-Sure thing! Thanks for the help by the way.

Lt. Surge walked to the other side of the (court? battle arena? colosseum?).

-Whenever you're ready, release your pokemon

From the data I collected, I know his type preference and strength. And I had an advantage.

Go, Gabite!

Gabite appears from the pokeball, and has a smirk, eager to fight. I waited for his pokemon, but I decided to humor him.

How about you get the first move?

Lt Surge sent out Raichu.

-You're gonna regret giving me the first move! Quick attack!

"i dont know... i have been never out when i was there... i dont know what is good..."

-Well, you've got a big open space to explore, and...Hey, Blaziken!

Sarah runs out of the helicopter to meet up with her friend.

-That's Blaziken. He belongs to a trainer who's out in Johto right now. Sarah made friends with him one time when his trainer was having the professor hold on to him for a while. Usually, he isn't here because he's out with his trainer, so Sarah likes to play with him whenever he's here.

-He was actually dropped off this morning. I was a little sad because I knew how much Sarah loved to play with him, but when I called I found out she had gone with you.

I walked out of the helicopter.

-Come on, I'll show you around, Latias.

-Actually, we should go heal her first. That way she'll have more energy.

[Aquashin]

Latias looks at them and sighs

"whatever you allt hink tis best...."

-I think the professor's right on this one. You'll feel much better after some rest.

-Follow me, I'll show you to the healing chamber.

The professor walks out of the helicopter, and starts walking to his lab. He makes a hand motion for Latias to follow him.

-I'll come to.

I stood there, not wanting to leave her alone by accident. I waited for Latias to start off..well, floating towards the lab.

Latias nods and starts hovering slowly following them

We walk into professor oak's lab. I'd be a pretty spacious room, if he bothered to clean up at all. There was a machine in the back of the room that we walked towards.

-This is the healing chamber. It heals all minor injuries, as well as a couple major ones. This is used to heal you and will make you feel better, but it won't take just this.

He walks up to a control pad on the side of the machine, and the glass cover rotates to the side.

-Just lie down in here.

-Don't worry, it's safe.

[Aquashin]

Latias nods and slowly goes and lies down on it looking at them

Professor Oak closes the glass pod, and activates it. The machine begins to whir like an air conditioner, and some lights inside the machine light up. Then, as soon as it began, it was over. Professor Oak opens the glass chamber.

-So, how do you feel now?

[Aquashin]

Latias looks at Professor and starts hovering like it was normal, and flys once arorund the room

"i feel... like new... how is this possible so fast?...

Gabite seems to smirk and takes the hit, but grabd Raichu before he can retreat back and uses dragonbreath right up against it making a critical hit, and it deals massive damage, then Gabite tosses Raichu.

Who's gonna regret what again?

(Aww, I don't wanna be Lt Surge again...  )

-It's actually an invisible gas that has a healing effect when it comes in contact with those lights.

Professor Oak walks up to Latias.

-What's odd is I didn't expect you to have this great of a recovery from that machine alone. I thought it would have taken much more than that to heal you. But it seems you're doing very well.

There was an awkward silence.

-Being locked up like that, I'd say you probably haven't flown on your own very much, have you?


(Edit: I guess I really didn't want to play Lt surge, I totally forgot!)

-Lt Surge-

-Hm. I've only seen a couple trainers like you. Raichu, Double Team!

Copies of Raichu are made all over the room.

-Now, Quick attack again!

The copies of Raichu all attack at once.

Latias shakes her head

"the cages they used to train me were electrified on top, so i couldnt fly ... only hover..."
