And... You can give a story on how the quest is started coz i haven't thought about it yet XD

For a quest such as this, I would rather not come up with much of a story. I probably could invent some crazy back story to explain why you would do something like this, but let's keep it simple shall we? The man who would send you on the quest would probably just explain that this is some sort of test of skill, the only reason for you to do it, is for the sake of doing it.
<Spirit42> Oi! Please expand at least a little more.
<spirit> Very well.
...well, if he commands it...
A quest such as this one would be very easily made out to be a tournament, or a form of entertainment, probably for some nation such as ancient Rome. In doing so, the cave would be a building with a hell of a basement (caves), and would even be able to have a lobby where spectators would be eagerly awaiting the show to start. After the quest, the spectators would change their attitude, and either be happy for you, or disappointed in you.
<spirit> Take that Pokemon Contests!
<Spirit42> Very good, now, moving on.
<spirit> ahem....yes

If ever the player disconnects, that person will be removed from the quest, but the remaining can still continue battling. Losing against an opponent will be the only reason that the quest will be over. Problem is, if you are only 7 at the end of the solo room, one person will have to solo the double battle room as well...

this is probably the most problematic part of the quest. Allow me to explain by using an example my friends and I would probably start to employ, and as such, I am sure others would as well. If someone was about to loose, than for the sake of the rest of the group, that person would probably disconnect themselves (of course, this is assuming we have gotten pretty far, otherwise we would just try again).
My suggestion, would be that instead of requiring all eight people to complete the quest, make an award system based on the amount of people that complete the quest. By doing this, you could still do the quest even if you don't have eight people (difficulty settings would have to change), and you would always be able to continue regardless of who won.
More people completing quest = better loot at the end
Jerry:
It'll be more like a contest then... anyway, I like the idea, and it's original :)
I think that gathering the trainers at the same time will be the first problem to face. Some will perhaps have to wait for hours to get the participants full...
NotlaHunk:
Thank you very much for the suggestions guys.
The 8th maze will be as what Jerry suggested, plus the pokemon levels will be changed.
As for spirit's idea:
I really like the reward system for the number of people to complete the quest.
plus the simple story/ spectator tournament, i think will be cool...
Note: Edited the quest post :D
stephenkill2:
This also promotes synergy and teamwork! I'm really liking this idea. It's like the battle tower of multiple levels with friends! Is there any idea how you would implement a reward system besides number of people? Would there also be a scoring system?
PokeBlue358:
i really like the idea. i was gonna add more, but after seeing what was already added i can't.
