Will we be given 1 map in the game?

or...

Could it be blank and it gradually fills itself in as we travel around. Players could maybe open each others map and exchange info on locations of places.

or..

May be each regions or even city has it's own map that you must aquire / earn upon arriving.

Just a brainstorm.

What we have to offer:

    * A whole new world to explore alone or with friends.
    * Tons of new quests to solve including a party system for team play.
    * Surprising new events on the world map bring unprecedented realism.
    * Catch and train all currently known Pokemon.
    * Battle against NPC's and other players. Including team battles (e.g. 2 vs 2).
    * Tournaments. Beat all other players and win unique game content.
    * Trade or sell your obtained Pokémon and items.
    * Talk to the players around you or open the world chat to talk to everyone currently online.
    * Create your own customizable character (male or female), choosing your own clothes, skin colour, hair, and accessories.

Basically PU is creating a HUGE worlp map. No one will be filling in other empty space except for the PU team map makers.

he asks if you see the whole world from the beginning, or you, like in most of MMO and normal RPGs, have to TRAVEL to the place, to unveil the part of the map :-)

when u havnt been to the place before, you cant see how the terrain is on that part of world on the map.

i guess it will be like its in every pokemon game: you see the whole map from beginning :-)

I think it should be a little of both.

You should have a general world map, and as you do quests it takes you to places off of the map and adds it to your own personal map. :D

Maybe a basic map at most to start. It might be fun to have map quests for every area, so that you can have a set detailed (still hand-drawn) maps that you can put markers on.
