Balance Server Down

I can get on all of the other pokemon-online servers, except ours.... i was in mid battle and got disconnected. and now i can even get on it

If something happened to your internet, which caused you to disconnect, it is likely that the server hadn't realised that you disconnected. Which means you still look logged in to the server, so it will stop anybody who tries to join using your name. It will generally kick the phantom you from the server after a few minutes, allowing you to rejoin. If it happens again, try rejoining with a different name.

Do we need to update to Version 1.0.53?
  i was able to get on...thanks but now it says i have an older version.

If you've got 1.0.52, maybe. It looks like there might have been some bugs in that. The server is still running the older version though, so it shouldn't be a problem.

yes i now have 1.0.53.
But it says  Your client version (1.0.53) doesn't match with the server's (1.0.30). now. i can still join the Room but it says that on top..... Also it wont let me go back to the previous version

Like I said, it shouldn't be a problem. It's just a warning.
