I read somewhere that players will be able to buy houses. What will be the point of having a house? Will you be healed when your in it? or anything else special? or is it just a place to call home

It's just a place to call home.

 Well other than your house being "a place to call home" it has many other uses. First, it's romance. Second, you can decorate your house and show off to other people. Also I believe among the decorations will be a PC which is always useful. It would just make sense to have your own PC at your Home.

So... it's still a house you call home :P

I really wouldn't want a house if I couldn't change things inside XD

It wouldn't give any game benefits really, and as such, trainers might choose not to buy any house at all.
