Medicham and Froslass will be implented in the next batch for the testing server, so you'll just have to wait a little longer. I'm gonna work on Shunkle (thanks again Roloc) later today (I'm first gonna buy another car). So you guys might have some new toys to play with soon ;)

Not a problem at all :)
Can't wait to try out your balance on him. Gonna be so awesome :D

I'm working on a few balances myself. I'll send them to shadowfred as soon as I'm done. Just have to run some more numbers on one of them first. Armaldo, Houndoom and Manectric turned out really nice so I wanna do some more.

Well, Mr. Fox i do agree Fighting is a top type, as it has a nice range of types attached to it. I just wish we had more. (no more Fire/Fight though kthxbai)

I'm routing for Ice/Fighting and Electric/Fighting. Hopefully evolution of the original Hitmons.

Side note: What type are you looking to replace Alakazam with, Roloc (he who is color backwards)
Corpsair, Decapitain, Sparcrow, Condurit. Stumpole, Steekee, Totember, Flaracuda... My current list of ideas for Pokemon.

Any special attacker will do. I've been going through the list one by one but none can do as well as alakazam. I like alakazam but if anything on my opponents team has sucker punch its dead...doesn't even have to be stab. lql

I currently have two on my team thats weak to dark (Chandelure and alakazam) But I have Lucario which counters it really well. it has a 4x resist and justified.

My team is really squishy thats why they pretty much have abilities that let them abosrb attacks for one another. Dewgong gets healed when hit by water attacks aimed at chadelure. Chandelure gets more damage with fire attacks when it takes a fire attack for Butterfree or lucario. Butterfree absorbs ground attacks aimed at lucario and electivire. electivire gets +1 speed when hit by electric attacks aimed at butterfree or dewgong. chandelure absorbs fighting attacks aimed at dewgong or lucario. and lucario gets +1 attack when it takes dark attacks aimed at alakazam or chandelure. so the only one that doesn't really do any of that is alakzam. Thats why I would like to find something to replace it but so far I haven't found anything.

And I don't mind if everyone knows this team. a good amount of people do already and try to predict my switches. But most of the time everyone just over predicts. They switch to absorb something and it turns out to not be what they thought was coming or they attack to hit what they thought I would switch to. People trying to predict my team or not knowing my team has let me get many wins with this team.

You could use a sap sipper Girafarig to take grass moves for Dewgong and ghost moves for Chandelure. Of course, sap sipper buffs attack, so that's not so great for a special attacker.

Hmm. Thanks that could work nicely. I'll give it a shot. Even if Girafarig cant use the +1 to attack from sap sipper its still nice to absorb a grass attack and ghost attacks. :)
Plus a psychic pokemon thats not weak to ghost is awesome

I must say, after looking through all 649 Pokes, I myself couldn't find a better match than Girafarig. It won't take Grass/Ghost for sure, and I bet it's movepool has a deep end. Only thing that'd be any kind of better is a Heatran, as grass=1/4 damage, and Flash Fire could guard a Lucario, but is considered a LE, sadly.

Yeah, I'm going to give Girafarig a try later on today whenever I get around to making me a set that suits my teams needs. On paper though it looks like it will help me greatly. Thanks a lot shadowfred :D

Also you can shoot me a PM or come on the balance server and we can chat there, Pokemaster MAC
We can use either of those to continue the convo from the balance thread.

Balance server for PO right? I'm afraid I don't have PO. I need both computer/laptop access and permission to download from the owner ('til i get my own that is)

Otherwise I get to hope i can chat up the place with those here on the forums using my Wii

Yup, we have a balance server on the PO battle simulator where we test all of the pokemon that we are balancing.

Yeah, it'd be a lot simpler if i could do PO. i want to, but can't. When i actually get a job, first thing i will do is get a laptop for myself, as this drives me nuts not being able to use PO
