Basically im founder and Web master for pokefire forums heres the link http://pokefire.freeforums.org same name as here and I think that my time and effort could be used to benefit and, help projects such as this hope you consider me for any forum position thanks and have a great day

Well, using the argument of the admins, the forum isn't that active and the team members can handle it fairly well, plus there has been mods before and one day, they did something horrible. So to prevent that, they prefer handling things themselves.
