Brock nods then commands

Rhyhorn start off with rock polish! Onix use screech!

Rhyhorn begins to glow using Rock Polish while Onix let out an piercing screech!

"Alright lets start this out right guys!"

The screech severely reducing both of their defenses!

"Nidoran! Use Hone Claws! Then Focus energy!" "Beedrill Fly up and use Rock Smash on Onyx!"

Nidorans claws start shining from the increased sharpness and started glowing slightly red from the focus.....As Beedrills drill on his arm started to Glow bright and swings hard at Onyx!

Onix was hit by Beedrill and cried and lashed out in pain but, he didn't go down!

Onix use bind on Beedrill! Rhyhorn horn attack on Nidoran!

Onix lunged attempting to bind Beedrill while Rhyhorn charged its head lowered baring its horn at Nidoran!

Timmy

"Nidoran try to jump out of the way and Hone Claws one more time!"

About that time Onyx wrapped around Beedrill and started squeezing him!

"Beedrill no!!!!!" "Try to use Rock smash to break out of it!"

Being squeezed Beedrill didn't respond...

Brock placed his hand on his chin in though for a moment. Then Rhyhorn missed Nidoran by inches and Brock shouted,

Onix keep squeezing him! Rhyhorn Turn around and Horn attack again!

Onix began to squeeze tighter while Rhyhorn whirled around, pointed his horn at Nidoran and charged!

As I had nothing that could help her, I could only watch as the poison took the last of Cara's Strength.
I was on my knees and in tears...
"Come on Cara, let's get out of here, you need help"

I paid the kid his money, and rejected his offer to help. Part of me was mad at him for doing this, and the other half was to embarassed to ask him for help. I wandered and wandered Mt. Moon, desperately trying to find a way out. As I realized that I had passed the same exact stalactite more than a few times... I admitted to myself that I was lost. Just as I started to cry again, and lose all faith in myself, I thought of something. I had taken some things from what was left at my house. I opened my bag and scrambled through it trying to find something of use. I was hoping to find an escape rope, but no. Instead all that was left were a few potions, a picture of my family, a compass and some old maps.
"That's it! I'll use the compass to try and find an exit, and the map of the cave should help."
Using landmarks in front of me, I could navigate around by referring to the map. It took longer than it should have, but I ended up in Cerulean City, rushing to the Pokemon Center.

"Take my Eevee, please, she fainted from a powerful Toxic."

-"Don't worry, it may take a while, but your Eevee is in good hands. Here, take some tea, your nerves seem shot."

"Thank you"

and so the wait began....

The little starfish shot out water towards the bird's face.

Warren walked uietly down the path out of Pewter city, his thought filled with images of the girl beaten, bruised and bloodied filling his mind. He knew the shirt she was wearing had had a large red mark on it but, he hadn't put any thought behind it until now. It couldn't have been an R could it? NO! She had been the one that was hurt by TeamRocket, she couldn't have been part of it! He looked at the poke-nav that adorned his wris and wondered if she had even woken up yet. Shaking his head Warren began to jog own the track whispering to himself,

I barely know her and yet i'm obsessed with her well being, something is wrong with me.

I smiled as I hoped he would get Rhyhorn to get upclose again!

"Nidoran DOUBLE KICK!"

Nidoran turning around and kicking both its legs at Rhyhorn!

"Beedrill you have to do something!!!"

Beedrill is unable to do anything still!

Brock

Rhyhorn was hit both times just barely holding on through sheer will!

Rhyhorn, give 'em one last stomp to remember you by! Onix, finish that Beedrill with rock throw!

Rhyhorn reared up on its back legs and sent his front one crashing down at Nidoran! Onix used the tip of his tail to launch a rock that flew into the air and came hurtling down towards Beedrill!

Timmy

"Oh no Nidoran try to move out of the way!"

Nidoran jumped but was still hit by the stomp slamming him into the ground....

"Nidoran! nooo"

Nidoran slowly trying to get up....

"If you can try to use double kick one more time on Rhyhorn!"

Looking at beedrill about to be hit with the Rock throw...Timmy noticed....

"Beedrill use rocksmash on him when he used his tail his grip had to loosen a bit!"

Beedrill noticing it also was able to pull his arm out and slam a Rock smash down onto Onyx before he got hit by the Rock Throw....Being super effective it knocks out Beedrill.

"Beedrill return! You did great buddy...take a long rest.."

Brock

Onix screeched in pain but, held on through sheer force much like Rhyhorn. Rhyhorn was hit by the double kick and fell,

Rhyhorn nnnnoooooo!

Brock returned Rhyhorn then said,

Looks like its between Onix and Nidoran, lets start this with a rock throw!

Onix picked up his tail and threw a rock at Nidoran.

As I approached Viridian City and poliwag jumps for joy. I chuckle at his enthusiasim. I walk over to the pokemon center and I hand nurse. Joy my pokemon. She takes them and I hang around for a bit before she hands it back.

me-You ready to train?

He nods, we exit the pokemon center and we walk to route 22. I slowly walk throught the long grass and I hear a growl from inside a large patch of grass. I slowly approach it and quick as lightning a light blue pokemon jumps out and tackles poliwag. Poliwag goes flying and lands with a thud.

me-Poliwag!

He quickly regains composure. I turn to the pokemon. My pokedex beeps.

pokedex-nidoran female, although small it has toxic barbs that can poison on contact, its horns are smaller than the male nidoran.

me-You look quite rare, I'll catch you.

The nidoran lets out a small growl.

me-Poliwag use water gun!

A spray of water hits the poliwag and it is pushed to the ground, before it can get up.

me-Use bubble then hypnosis!

He lets lose a multitude of bubbles that damages and lowers the nidorans speed, it tackles very slowly and before it reaches poliwag it's already asleep.

me-it's now or never.

I throw the pokeball and it is sucked inside, I wait for the click.

Gm Coin flip!

1 Heads 1  tails.....The Nidoran busted out of the Pokeball somehow....But was still asleep...

"Run at Onyx to dodge it Nidoran!"

Nidoran bursted out into a sprint charging at Onyx!

"Try to hit it with a double kick!"

I wait in anticipation if Nidoran can get close enough in time...

Onix meet the double kick with slam!

Onix swung his tail dust flying from the ground and coating everyones view of the battle. A cry of pain was heard along with the heavy fall of somethings body, the dust cleared and Onix was on the ground with stars in his eyes but, where was Nidoran?
