Rivals

I was thinking one day about this game, and I thought of something. I thought about rivals in pokemon games. I was thinking that we should be able to send "rival requests" to other players that you know. They could be people here that you personally know or you met from the forums. They could accept or deny it, and if they accept, they become your rival. You can become rivals with other people, but probably with a limit to it. You can challenge them to battles and all that rival stuff.

That is pretty much the buddy system, but maybe calling it a rival request or rival list couldn't hurt.

Jerry:
That's what I would call a friend/buddy as well. The other player is not some heartless AI and friends do battle against each other, right? ::)
