Alright, I'm in the process of making my profile. I asked a friend to draw me something yesterday, and I'm using it as my human picture. It won't be done for a while, so that's part of the reason I'm keeping him a mystery. Also, with how I have my character planned out, I was hoping to just put 'Unknown' for home world. And just to be clear, whenever we sync up, do we come back to the main area? Also, if characters have lives of their own, does that mean they can engage in tournaments of their own? And what else can they do when they're not synced up?

If I remember correctly, cortex was calling the astrals an extension of the characters mind. If I understand your question, no neither human, nor astral can enter the tournament on there own. cortex will have to answer the rest..... He knows more.....

The human can't enter the tourney on their own if they do not have an astral. The human needs an astral to compete. Think of the movie avatar: The human can't ravel around in the blue cat peoples world, they need the avatar. At the end of a battle, the human comes back to their world, where they were standing at. The astral does not follow commands, the human becomes the astral being. In my first post, I will show you guys how it is done. Also, outside of battles, you can do what you want. Think of it in terms of playing video games, you take a break to take care of other matters.

Right, but what I mean is that we're taking control of living beings, right? So they'd have to have their own opinions and thoughts, so wouldn't that mean that if they wanted to, the 'avatar' could enter a tournament by itself?

No, they can't. Here is how it works. The seals that contain the battlefields are copies of different places from different worlds. When a person synchs to one of these fields, their mind combines with the being. The human is control the entire time, and can access the beings memories as well as strategies, while making their own. When the battle is done, the human and the being are returned home, but the human's body never leaves earth, nor does the beings leave their home.

That makes sense...Now I have to fix a few things in my profile.
