(Quest-Easy) Bugmaniac

[Kuixta]

So there's a npc (preferably a youngster) walking back and forth before an opening to the forest. You talk to him and he tells you that he fought a bugmaniac. He got defeated and the bugmaniac knocked him out and took his pokemon (a venonat and a  venomoth). So he asks you if you could help him. If you accept you have to go to a certain part of the forest. After you fight him he returns the pokemon he took and runs off. You return them and the npc gives you a reward.

i'll keep it in mind. it is definitely feasible to make in the game.....i just don't think it would make for a very exciting quest for the game

IF its made, it would be right at the very beginning in all likely hood

Yeah that was what i am aiming for. (I'll update the magikarp quest puting some of the ideas together.)

Yeah it's a bit cliche to my tastes.

boy: Someone stole my pokemon!
player:I'll go get them for you!
boy:oh thank you so much mister!

3 minutes later.

player:here you go.
boy: here's a reward!
complete.

this is not supposed to be a really hard quest just something in the beginning something easy to help someone start gaining experience.

Well it doesn't seem to difficult you succeeded with that, but I think we should try to make every quest exciting, because many games I have played are just skimmed through by the players with only one thing in mind, getting the reward. Hopefully we can make it to where we actually pay attention to what the NPC's are saying, not giving. Note: ( I am not saying everyone does this I have just seen this happen.)

yeah, if only we had a story writer to come up with quests that actually have a purpose, and are at least mildly interesting

Perhaps you could add bonuses by remembering something the NPC says, promoting the reader to actual read it.

Anyways he's an amazing story writer, so all the 'not so specific' quests will be well made and interesting.
