Wait why not use the staff and tge retractable swprds which i assume was ok then have thwn two swords but keep them connected by the chain. Then its still the same weapon and would only take 1 person to be weapon

That's possible Humen, but the problem is, Cortex and I rejected multi-weapo forms for a reason. Say it's... Tylan using the multi-weapon vs.... Kyrie and the other guy, since I can only remember their weapon forms atm. Tylan is using the staff vs an ax. The ax would win on a normal fight, because not only does it have the same reach, but an actual blade. It would come down to skill and creativity. But then, Tylan shifts to dual swords. Now he has decent length and speed, and can completely out maneuver and out speed the bulky ax.

My point is, each weapon has a certain type it is weak against, so every character has a weakness. In the anime they didn't have to worry about being OP, we do. Ya see?

Oh. Whats my weakness . Well other than Rin and Ren can't get close enough because of unlimited ammo with dual shotgun.

Bullets are crafted from the energy of the soul. They can only fire as long as they can fight, and they can easily run out of energy constantly blasting off their soul. And you'd probably be weak to something like an ax. It has nearly as much range as you, but more weight behind it and a sharper blade. It's problem is, no matter how skilled, the ax will always be slower than others. Use that to your advantage.

Now let me shatter your loophole into a million pieces. See how the staff disconnects to form two swords? One weapon can't disconnect, something like a chain must always connect the other weapon for it to be a single weapon, and not two people. BOOM! MWUAHAHAHAH.

Edit: Yea gun weapons don't have unlimited ammo it just comes down to how strong the soul is. And yea close range for me is a death wish if it contacts xD
