Yume would have a long reach if she could fully transform in a polearm, but then she would be unable to move at all. So her reach is very close to her arms. Pretty much equal to hand-to-hand combat.

Tylan wields a staff, so long reach and quick blows. Most of the characters strength comes from raw talent, but Tylan was never naturally gifted. I'm not spoiling exactly how, but lets just say all he can do is honed skill. He is enormously gifted in combat, hence why he has no Soul Resonance.

then basiclly if you got a good reach in your arm and your weapon is long enough you have an advantage.
If you knew how to use it in that advantage it would make a little bit better.

No, Vulpix. A long reach, but a staff is not nearly as deadly as a sword, and if your opponent can get in, you are at a severe disadvantage. I could write up a quick scenario, if you really want to know.

Hey what about my weappn its a staff giving it reachd and 2 sharp blades on the ends for deadlines that must give a good advantage.

You would think, but a staff is a large weapon, not maneuverable in tight spaces. Modern bow staffs have ben greatly reduced in size, and with blades on the ends, that would not be possible here. You'd have to keep your enemy back, or carry something to fight close range.

Humen, a bowstaff is pretty much just a regular staff, to what I know. Your advantages depend on the length of your weapon. I was under the impression that it was a shorter weapon, and not a full-length staff. However, if it IS the full length of a staff, then it's a different fighting style.

Anyway, Kyrie, being an ax, has a longer(ish) reach and is more powerful, but slower.

Your weaponw speed easy go take advantage of there is an opening in almost all your attacks assuming you use the normql side and downward slash

Hey, they're not that much slower. Just slow. And, if by "normal side" you're referring to the blade, it's double bladed. I said that in the profile. And downward slash is SO not the only possible attack. :I

'Kay, so Vulpix. Lets take Warren and Silene, a meister and sword. Now, lets say they fight.... Tylan. Aside from the fact that Warren completely outmatches the RP in skill level at the moment, it will be a normal double bladed sword vs a staff.

Now, each person has their own specific advantage here. Tylan has a longer reach and heavier blows, but Warren has a faster strike and a sharper blade. Warren could simply get in close, if this just an example, and Tylan would struggle to maneuver around to the fullest of his ability.

And, compared to most of the other weapon styles, Ayara, Kyrie's blows are significantly slower. XD
