#623, Golurk (The Automaton Pokémon)
Intro:
Golurk is a large, metallic, bipedal automaton evolved from Golett. Its appearance is akin to a Romanesque style of armor and despite its large size is in fact capable of flight. It is believed to have been created by an ancient civilization with the sole purpose of protecting humans and pokémon alike.
Diet:
Because Golurk has no mouth he has no actual diet but when given items like berries or puffins breeder have clamied to seeing it crush them into a fine powder before pouring it into the crack in their armor.
Habitat:
Golurk are known to reside within ancient ruins most likely the homes to the civilization that originally created the Golurk . It isn't known why they were stored inside these ruins but it seems they are loyal to their mission and continue to protect the ruins from those who would wish to bring further harm to them.
Biology:
Golurk are genderless, flat footed pokémon who's mainly teal in color. Comparable to its body Golurk's head is surprisingly small with a crystal like formation on the top of its head and shoulders. There is a large crack in its armor that along with its eyes and the swirls on its shoulder and hands emit a yellow light. The crack is closed by a brown object acting as a seal for whatever energy inside powers Golurk. Because of Golurk rather spectral nature some are convinced that the energy with in it is actually the spirit of a long extinct Pokémon that were placed inside the metal suits.
Despite its appearance Golurk is capable of flight by its arms and legs within and exerting its energy out taking off like a rocket. If the seal were to be removed the energy would run wild and Golurk would being to fly uncontrollably becoming incapable of landing itself
Pokemon League Commission notes:
Golurk have been classified as D class pokémon as they reside in high quantity within Dragonspiral tower. There are no limits on how many can be caught or any limits in battle.
