Pokemon #251, Celebi, Grass/Psychic type, Time Travel pokemon
Intro: Celebi is the coveted guardian of Ilex forest, and said to be an envoy of peaceful era’s. Celebi is a small, fairy-like, light green pokemon. It has small wings and a droplet-shaped head with two light-green antenna with blue tips. It has large, bright blue eyes with black circles and a cheerful demeanor. The end of its head appears to consist from several strands with bright green highlights. It has a small, bright green body and two light-green arms with three small claw-like fingers.
Habitat: Although Celebi has no officially registered habitat, it is known to typically dwell in forests. Especially Ilex forest is apparently a choice location, since one of the few recorded sightings of Celebi have been here.
Diet: Celebi is known to crave certain types of berries. It will go as far as to hasten the flowering, pollination and ripening of the fruit using temporal manipulation in order to eat these.
Celebi has the power to control plants and nature, restructuring it and ripening fruit to fulfil its own needs. Celebi’s presence causes plants to flourish and nature to be restored completely.
Celebi’s ability to travel through time has caused the research on its origin to reach a dead end, and escalate into philosophical debate. There exists the possibility that Celebi originates in the future, where eons of evolution allowed it to reach a pinnacle of existence in the abilty to travel through time. This ability would then allow it to travel to any era and spread its influence through history. It may also have originated alongside the original pokemon mew and Arceus.
In one report, a Celebi was caught and exploited by a team Rocket executive. Reports mention that this led to severe physical abuse of the Celebi, which eventually led to its demise. The Celebi was then resurrected thanks to the summoning of many of its kin, which reversed the flow of time and the demise of the Celebi. The appearance of many Celebi was also the topic of much debate. Next to the possibility that many Celebi were summoned from many periods of time, or from a parallel dimension that exists outside our time, it is also possible that only a single Celebi exists, infinitely interacting with itself in many eras, and extending its own life indefinitely. Since there is no way to prove any of these theories, the debate will continue.
Celebi’s ability to travel through time was shown to be transferrable with specialized equipment. The transfer of this ability to a human vessel allowed the human to see into the future until the power ran out. The transfer of this power completely stripped the surrounding environment of all life and the act was branded as a crime against nature, pokemon and humanity.
In direct combat, Celebi is able to reverse time and heal its own injuries. It’s signature move is Future Sight.

Class A: Since the use of a Celebi has proven to possibly have destructive consequences for entire environments, catching of Celebi is strictly prohibited. Additionally, the prime directive states that no human interference in timelines is allowed, in order to secure the existence of the present, and a trainer using a Celebi to travel through time is in direct conflict with this law.
Celebi is known to sometimes choose a trainer to follow in a quest of great significance. Using temporal anomaly tracking, it was recorded that the hero Gold used Celebi's power to travel to the past and prevent the uprising of Team Rocket's Giovanni. Since this involved a matter of national safety, the PLC has retroactively juged this use of Celebi's power as admissable.
