it's a very important quote to me, i always try to instill in people the truth that teachers should respect that they can learn from their students as well; as a martial artist, i take this very seriously, and always openly listen to my students, cause you just never know....not to mention, i have learned from analyzing their abilities just how much i know, and have improved myself more by doing so than by listening to my teachers. it is also very important, in my opinion, for people to work together for a greater good and try to teach and learn from each other in order to do so.
