Pokemon you HATE.

Pokemon like Picharisu and Plusle/Minun. If you're going to make a pokemon with no evolutions, don't make them so weak. Dunsparce is in this group too.

Too many of a certain type of pokemon. Do we really need three different normal type versions of a cat? Persian was fine, and Delcatty is ok if you think of it like a pampered housecat as opposed to a feral cat like Persian. But Purugly? Why? This also includes too many of a certain type. Of course this goes along with my believe that we have way too many pokemon in total. Coming out with new pokemon each generation is all well and good, but does it have to be 100+ each time?

From a strategic standpoint you have some pokemon like Camerupt. Low defenses and health do not go well with low speed, especially when your signature move loses power when you lose health.


As a final off topic note, I'm posting in this old thread because a Mod locked a recent best or worst thread and linked to this one, telling the OP to use the search function. It seems odd for a Mod to do this for such an old thread, but whatever.

I think some of the worst looking, pointless, and most forgetful pokemon came from johto,

Qliwfish; it's just ugly...
dunsparce;The land snake pokemon... And it apparently has wings and a stinger???
Unown; It is useless all it learns hidden power...

I think Mantine is fine. It actually learns a flying type attack, unlike Gyarados, and is a good special sponge.

Unknown was created to be the pokemon version of a secret code, even though most of the letters they take the shape of are easily identifiable.

There is only one pokemon that i think is useless that is Magikarp, in lower level that is.

I totally hate dunsparce because theres nothing special about him. he doesnt evolve, no special moves, nothing.

Actually, dunsparce is really cool. it can learn lots of cool moves like glare and roost and water pulse and thunder and ice beam, and can be a really good flinch-and-para-hax pokemon because of its ability, serene grace. Except that togekiss does everything dunsparce does about a billion times better, even though it has a shallower movepool.

Jirachi also has an impressive move pool and serene grace, plus good stats.

Nosepass and Probopass. What are these things? There is no originality or proper Japenese folk tale to inspire these things. I'm not exactly sure why, I just hate them so much.
