Hello, call me Therew.
A little bit about myself, I've played pokemon since red and blue until gold and silver. Fell out of the game since then but never out of love with the concept. I hope my stay here will be enjoyable and enjoyed. ^-^

Hey there, welcome. Check out the FAQ and rules before you post, and have fun.

Also i would recommend playing past gold and silver, the games are very fun. Generation three is my favorite with ruby and you can find some free emulators of it online if you google it.

Does Fire Red count? I have it sitting around. Poor game gathering dust. I had diamond but when a friend of mine was robbed I gave it to him because he was such a big fan of pokemon.

Yes fire red is also a very good one, you should try it out :)
