Title: New guy says "Hi!"
Post by: Steeste on February 07, 2012, 09:40:30 PM
Hello Everyone,

I've just stumbled across this website today and I'm more than excited to play the game when it comes out! Ever since I knew what an MMO was, I've wanted to play one based on Pokemon. I'm still trying to learn as much as I can about the new game and it's progress in the developmental stages. I'll see you around the forums!

------------------------------------------

Stupid me read the "READ THIS FIRST!!!" second... so rather than deleting the topic I'll just add more to it, making it less pointless!

My real name is Stephen, I'm 20 (dear god I'm so old) and I live in New Hampshire. A few months ago I lived in Orlando, FL for about a year with my wub ('cute' way of saying love) who I met on the MMORPG Runescape (don't hate). We both moved back to my home town in NH cause Orlando sucks. I'm an aspiring photographer, meaning it's a hobby of mine but I'm too modest to "follow my dreams" and try to make a career out of it... I wonder if I can post some photos under the art section of the forums, even though I kind of get the feeling it's for more drawing sort of art. I like to do outdoorsy stuff like fishing, hunting, snow-machining, ice-fishing, hiking... and other things of the like. Let's see what else... I guess I'm a "PC Gamer" even though I don't play many games anymore... I played a lot of COD until MW3 came out and I stopped playing after a couple weeks (I don't really know why). I like to cook... I can cook 'nice' things like my own stuffed orange chicken breast recipe, but I really like fun/easy stuff like a baked mac&cheese that'll... you'll like it. My personal favorite is biscuit pizzas!!! Ok so, you know those tubes of ready to make biscuits? Open those baby's up, flatten them out with your hands or fingers or a rolling pin... put a spoon full of salsa in the middle and spread that around, then a dollop of SHREDDED cheese (for the love of god don't use squares please please please). Pre-heat your oven to 400F and leave 'em in there for 10 mins and you're all set! Seriously... it's so fun and easy! Try it! Great for kids... or a man-child like myself. I hope this served as a more substantial intro.

OUT!

--------------------------------------

On second thought, I'm 'guna add more. I'll go further in depth on some of the above discussed topics. Okay, so my favorite Pokemon (that's not Gen I) is Zangoose (but Gen I will always be on the top of my list). My fav Gen I Pokemon are Charizard and Gyarados. I have a tattoo of them fighting on my left shoulder. While in Orlando (the skid-mark on the under pants of America) I started getting "mad ink, yo" just kidding... tattoos. Aside from my Pokemon, I've got my state, New Hampshire, on my foot. Don't get a foot tattoo... that poop (can we swear here?) kills. Then I have a little something special on my ass (I sure hope so... just like anything, moderation, moderation, moderation). My rule is I can't tell, I can only show. Maybe don't try asking right off though, aye? The whole Runescape thing.... I have a lot of experience leading "clans" through that game, quite successfully. I made a lot of friends and blah blah blah. My account got hacked like a week after I quit so there's no going back now. I think that's all for now.

--------------------------------------

Last thing. My wub is also on the forums. Her user is Rare Candy!

Thanks Reafer!

I've got a quick question (for anyone reading this topic). I missed the last "e" when creating my user name. When I tried to register a new account, a website message told me I could not create two accounts from the same computer. Is there anyway to change my user name?

----------------------------------------------------------------

(I found the answer to my question!!!)

If you keep looking, there is a name change thread. You have to be active for 4 months, then post in the thread.
Welcome!

I don't blame you Accursed, I've got a lot of stuff written up there!

Reafer, the biscuit pizzas are the best! And the tattoo is great after a bit much to drink and it comes out at family functions or parties... Thanksgiving... New Years.. The Superbowl.. stinkin' Giants.

Funny functions must be very awkward and far and few in between, in order for you to pull your ass out every time

:-[   My family has a strange sense of humor. Thanksgiving was it's debut. Then New Years and the Superbowl were more like "OMG Stephen, Uncle Whoever hasn't seen it yet! Show him! Show him!.... AHHHHH!!!"

Firstly, "the skid-mark on the under pants of America"....I nearly died of laughter. Secondly, the biscuit pizzas are legit. And lastly, Thanksgiving was hilarious. Granted, everyone was legally drunk, but everyone remembered the ass tattoo episode and it was pretty much epic lulz all around. :D
