If it were me, I'd ban them from each player's 'guild team' entirely.
But meh... It's not my guild, so...

Nah, I think that's going a little to far. I like the idea that they are normal at birth so they should be allowed on a normal team.

I would consider Castform Normal type since that's its default form, and thus would be for a normal type trainer. Same with Ditto.

I agree.

However I remember the team throwing around the idea of an npc that changes a pokemon's hidden power type and power but I'm not sure

The type of the move, they're planning to do it, yes, Level5Pidgey said it in one thread. The power, I don't think so, it wasn't mentioned.
Eh well as long as they have the type, im happy
met too;)

Me as well. It will make things a lot easier.

Peh >.>
I apologize if I give a suggestion that's been made already. I'm not paying particular attention to thi thread, and there's no way in hell I'm going to read fifteen pages of talk for a guild I'm not even in.
That being said, have you guys decided how you're going to work the economical part of the guild?
ie - If you're buying a base, how the payments will work out, and any payment/rewards that may or may not be given to members of the guild, such as the 'epic lewts' at the end of a big quest the guild worked on togethor.
All good no one expects you too. :P But since we don't know for sure EXACTLY what will be in game as far as bases and big time quests that require more then one person there is no need for us to discuss it till we have absolute confirmation on it.

If you guys plan on becoming a big-time guild, I'm hoping you plan on being selective about who the 'main' seventeen trainers are. I know you can't do it now, but, when open beta ges released, the spots for the main trainers for each type shouldn't be 'first-come-first-serve'
It may be a bit dissapointing to some of the guys here NOW, but...
Most of you guys, as I've noticed around the forums, want Elemental Elites to be a top notch guild (or, in daedae's case, the ultimate guild that will destroy all in its path). So, I'm just saying...
It's been said many times that we will be holding fights for trainers of each type  to fight other trainers that use the same type to decide who will be the leader of that type.

What you can do, is make a battle between the two when the game is out and your teams ready and the winner will be 'the' ice trainer. If the latter loses a match against a pokemon team of the same general type, then the winner will claim the title. This will mean that the best trainer in each type will remain the true best trainer. Fair?
Thats what we been planning on doing.

I noticed Ghost might be taken, so I also have an ice team:

NOTE: If JohnnyXtreme is not the Ghost type trainer then I would still like my ghost team which I submitted on page 13 to be my 'official' application. If JohnnyXtreme turns out to be the ghost type trainer I would like this ice team to be my application. I hope that was understandable. xD

You both can be Ghost trainers. We will hold a Guild only turny to decide who the leaders of each type will be. But you both can be ghost trainers if you like them more then ice. :)

Yes, it is. Get an electrode use Discharge on first turn (Speed 416). This will inflict damage on Charizard ( x 3 Damage due to stab + weakness) and Electivire speed will go up one level, enough to deliver a move before Charizard and Charizard gets one turn KO.
where u messed up...

1 y would someone use a charizard on an electric team in the begining?...
2 didn't i say idc...
3 i would start with aerodactyl...and wipe out ur whole team of electric...
4 electrode don't learn discharge...

hmmm... but ur right ...this could be done using jolteon....hmmm thanks!!!!

He got ya on number 4 :/ i just looked it up. strange that an electrode cant learn discharge
haha yeah i thought the same thing.

Ok listen to this daedae. A Jolteon with hidden power grass is near unstopable, especially with choice specs on
Evee's evolutions are nice. Although i don't like any of them. XD

Eh the only ones that are good competively is vaporeon as a tank and jolteon as i described

That's true.

But I personally still don't like either of them.

I realise that some types don't lend themselves well to a mono team, and it's true that the elite four wasn't strictly pure like the gym leaders were. Doing it this way will help us differentiate ourselves. I don't really mean to take your idea and go in a direction you really don't want to go, though. I'm still kind of on the fence.

You guys are always free to do as you want with the guild. We were mainly just throwing out feedback. If you do decide to go with a little leeway in members building their teams just let me know. If y'all don't mind i would like to give making a single type team guild a shot, if this one falls apart that is.

Just watched it.
I enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time to do this for us, Balance team!
