Sounds good to me.
So one of the 3 types I'm choosing from (normal fight and poison) will be my main, 1 my sub and the other will be dropped.
I won't be online next week, since I'll be abroad.
Just so that you know, you don't thave to drop that other type. You battle with any teams you want, its just that when you are asked to battle for EE then you use your chosen type,other then that battle with whatever you want. I for one have tons of mixed teams and mono teams and am fairly skilled with them all. Im most skilled with my bug, rock and poison mono teams because those are my favorites. But I have recently made a dark team that I have become fond of and am doing very well with it even against mono fighting and fairy teams. Also, if you don't mind me asking,where are you headed to? Vacation or something else? ROLOCEDIT: Updated first post with mentors and event winner. As well as updated a few type changes.

Okay so this is what I have so far:
Sub type:
- Can't be elite of your sub type.
- Someone can battle your sub type for the elite title if your sub type is the same as their main type. This can only happen if the person who is being challenged is the elite of their main type. (this is to ensure that the person is of adequate skill and not some random noob.)
Mentors sounds good. I'll appoint some of them later.

Yeah, but me and computers tend to have conflicts one way or another :p
I made 4 teams (water, poison, fighting and flying), but I have to fight to get the kinks out of them (see what works and what doesn't) and choose my type.
Edit: seems like PU isn't that active on the balance server whenever I get on it?
We're all there now, We went to a Dr's appointment for the baby.

Another event sounds great. The Xmas one got a little messed up because so many people went on vacations and miss and I had a baby during that time as well.
I'm sure this one will do a lot better.

PO is really quite simple. Just follow the directions in my guide to the letter. Don't skip any steps. Always grab the most up to date PO from their official website.

While megas do add SOME strategic value, most of the Pokemon are far more powerful as normal due to items. Megas are really only good for the more weaker Pokemon like mawile, medicham and khangaskan and a few others. I think gamefreak is really just going off of favorites for 80% of the pokes they choose. Physical lucario does have some nice damage but BP isn't much of a threat to Pokemon with 50% or more HP left, not to mention he can be easily outsped and OHKoed. I followed the sticky "how to get on the balance server" or something like that. You might update it because it's a tad confusing for new people.

Poison is basically just like water, lots of bulk but also some very dangerous hard hitters and speedy pokes, not to mention some nice support pokemon. Fighting is your more all out damage type but it too has some bulk out there and I find that a lot of the fighting pokemon benefit greatly from assault vest (conk and machamp to name two) Flying is really all around a balanced type seeing as it is paired with every type in the game.
