Jirachi uses Nasty Plot and then Doom Desire, and follows it up with a future sight. Problem Solved.

Future Sight and Doom Desire cannot stack. Otherwise, that would work.

Yeah, it's a confirmed fake bro. However, I have to agree with Kam - awesome stuff.

Honestly, if I saw this come to life, I think it should be made as over the top as possible. (Have Michael Bay direct it.) Somewhat like The Expendables. That way, we could laugh, drop our jaws in awe, and talk about it afterwards without mentioning how stupid a live action Pokemon movie is.

Team crapFish:
Luvdisc,
Seaking,
Whiscash,
Wailord,
Corsola,
Lumineon.

Halp.

Firstly, it's all fish... but no Magikarp?! I am disappoint Pidgey. I am disappoint. However, I can tell by the fact that you aren't using him it's "supposed" to be competitive, amirite? Well, in that case, how does classification of fish begin? Through type, dex entry, shape, appearance? All, none?

It's supposed to be competitive, and, those are the ones I'm using so XP
Halp.

Well in that case, we'll have a bit of an issue. Most of the 'pokes types and movesets don't really help each other at all. You'll pretty much have to limit it down to 'wall, wall, tank, attack, attack, utility.' Otherwise, the team will be even worse. :s

In that case, Kamaran posted a pretty awesome set for a Tanking SR Corsola. (Never tried it, so I can't say how effective it is, but I imagine it would work just fine if played properly.)

I think you should go with the DD Version of Whiscash, honestly. His new toy is incredibly fun. (Hehe.) It actually made him pretty viable in UU for a while before his popularity dropped off. Personally, I used Rock Slide for the better accuracy. You always notice misses so much more on boosting 'mons, you know?

Quote
Dragon Dance @ Life Orb
Anticipation / Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Rock Slide

For Seaking... Well, Pidgey... You're using Seaking. What do you expect? I can only remember him having two sets. CBand and a Flail one, iirc. So, I'd recommend the CBand one. Lest you have two set up 'mons.

Now, on to Wailord... Mmm, how Skitty on Wailord action... Uh, I mean... Give him a CScarf, obviously! -Coughs.- But, really. Weaker Kyogre? Hell, that doesn't matter. He hits hard with Water Spout. As you know, I modify all of my movesets and stats for personal preference, so this is mine, but you can use theirs:

Quote
Wailord @ Choice Scarf
Water Veil / Naive
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SpA / 232 Spe

- Water Spout
- Surf
- Selfdestruct
- Hidden Power Grass

On to... Luvdisc. Err, yeah. How about you just give it four random moves and hope it doesn't die in a single shot? Really though, probably the annoyer set is as good as you're getting for that. And, also iirc, Lumineon only has one set. A Rain Dance one, which isn't bad. As it would give you a second stand alone sweeper, but you would still lack overall defense. So, the best candidate for that would be either Wailord or Lumineon. (Average defenses and HP. Not really good, but meh. You're using chansey Seaking.)

Golem would do well with Earthquake instead of Rock Smash, Explosion instead of Roll Out.

Whischash maybe curse instead of Strength?

Weavile Night Slash, Avalanche instead of Faint Attack and Ice Beam. Slash is better than cut if you like a purely offensive moveset. I'd suggest a status/protect move.

Crobat may be better off with Poison Jab instead of Wing Attack. And perhaps double team instead of Air Slash
thanks, I'll make the changes now.

P.S I tried, pioson jab and crobat aren't compatible.(stupid T.Ms)

Perhaps he meant Poison Fang, which Crobat can learn. However, I'd check to see which is higher first on your Crobat. Special Attack or Attack. If Attack is higher, then Poison Fang is a solid choice. If its Special Attack is higher, then moves like Air Slash would be better.

General Chat / Re: Favorite Generation of Pokemon?
« on: September 22, 2010, 09:56:25 AM »
I'm sure you'll hear Generation I or Generation II almost exclusively from the staff.

But, for me, the answer would have to be Generation II. Not only was it the most innovative Generation (New 'story-line', more content, etc.) but it had some of my favorite sprites. Snorlax, Umbreon, and Tyranitar anyone? Mostly though, I do prefer the original First and Second Generation purely out of nostalgia. I imagine that I will like Black and White, mostly through new content, but Emerald will always have my favorite story.

Generation IV gets rather shafted as I like nearly nothing about it. Except for a few select Pokemon. (Dusknoir.)

Blitzkrieg - This is the name I have given a Pokemon I really wanted to see. It's the male, alter ego, of Mareep. (Just like Gallade and Gardevoir). As much as I love Mareep, I really didn't fall in love with Flaafy or Ampharos. It got me thinking, "What would I want in a situation like this?" And I decided on an Electric Ram. Very reminiscent of how Mareep first looked. On all fours, covered in electrically charged fur. Only, add huge ram horns, make it bigger, and make it look absolutely fluffy. Here are the stats:

General Info

    * Height: 5'0"
    * Weight: 487.3 lbs.
    * Classification: Electric Ram Pokemon
    * Color: Yellow
    * Type: Electric / Ground
    * Ability: Lightning Rod / Rumble*
    * Evolution: It evolves from Flaaffy starting at level 30, if male and holding a Thunder Scarf. It is the final form of Mareep.
    * Gender ratio: 100% Male
    * Breeding group: Monster and Ground
    * Growth rate: Slow
    * Effort points given: +2 Attack / +1 Speed
    * Base happiness: 45
    * Catch rate: 60

Base Stats

    * HP: 100
    * Attack: 121
    * Defense: 80
    * Speed: 87
    * Special Attack: 52
    * Special Defense: 80
    * Total: 510

Moves

    * Start: Tail Whip
    * Start: Thundershock
    * Start: Mud Sport
    * Level 4: Tackle
    * Level 6: Tail Whip
    * Level 12: Mud-Slap
    * Level 19: Take Down
    * Level 24: Thunder Fang
    * Level 27: Roar
    * Level 33: Double Edge
    * Level 40: Earthquake
    * Level 48: Cannonade**
    * Level 58: Scary Face

* Rumble is a new ability that increases Attack Power by 1 Stage every time the Pokemon is hit by a Super Effective move.
** Cannonade - Base Power: 90 - Accuracy: 100 - Physical - Slams into the foe with an electric charged tackle. 40% to Paralyze.

Just for your information. A lot of the people in the chat have almost every pokemon. And they are willing to trade them to you for nothing. (untrained)

As goes for jolly. You can without a doubt get a perfect Eevee for that matter. Natures and egg move wise.

/coughs

Oh, what's this? I have a full box of perfect IV Eevee's just waiting to evolve? Really, though. If people want to request Pokemon trades, they should head over to the Wifi thread. We don't really have a thread for team help, do we? Hrm...

Game Freak seems to be going out of their way to make redundant Pokemon in this generation; first we had another Fire / Fighting starter. Now we have a Fire Monkey. I'm almost betting that he will be part Fighting. Just because that would really chansey with us.

Especially since spirit is a writer ninja person, and as we all know, writer ninja people are very good at making paradi.

Anyway,
X/10
-Z because we do not forgive.
-Y because we do not forget.
+YxZ because that's the motto of anonymous and nobody cares what anonymous thinks.
That means that Q+YxZ=X, but X-(Y+Z)= Q.
...I'm confused.

Which in turn means that:

x - (y + z) + y + z = X

You can subtract X from both sides:

-(y + z) + y + z  = 0

So:

-(y + z) = -y - z

So:

y + z = y + z

Which, gets you down to 0 = 0. Tough luck, Mr. Pokemon. (It's been a long time since I took a math class, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

You deserve a 4/10 for that one... Wanna fight about it? Oh, well I guess you would just get an instant win by your logic....unless....I give you a 10/10, and you want a 10/10....and if we argue at that point (and believe me, we will....unless you want to argue about that, and create a paradox), then you will be forced to not get a 10/10.

That said... you cannot get above a 4/10, just so we can argue....wanna argue about it?
